Looking at my WCA profile, which of my events (excluding magic and pyra) needs the most work by todays standards?
Probably 4x4 and 5x5, then 3x3 and BLD.

That thread is for requesting odd statistics from the WCA database, this question would not fit whatsoever. If you want to say something like this, I'd suggest PM'ing instead.

for OH PLL, which is faster?

1) auf, pll, auf
2) auf and rotate, pll

For me it depends on the alg. PLLs such as V, A or N perm where I end with the AUF on F, B or R I might prefer to AUF and rotate then PLL so I don't have to do an x' or z' to AUF at the end. For most algs though I'd recommend AUF, PLL, AUF. Find out for yourself, try out both for various algs and see what works best for you.

I have 2 questions
1) Are the Cubesmith megaminx tiles the same as the ones that come with an mf8 tiled megaminx?
2) What size 2x2 stickers on the cubesmith site would I get for a Shengshou 2x2?

I have seen alot of questins about the Cubsmith megaminx tiles take a look do they look like Mf8 tiles

also there not as thick. Sorry if this sounds rude but they will never sell tiles the the ones on the Mf8 Megaminx's. Also go for Eastsheen size 2x2 stickers.

A few questions.. Hopefully these are not on the wrong board.
Any algs for this case? I'm trying to learn cage-redux for big cubes.

Can these nice little algs be generalized for any middle edge piece of any large cube? (e.g. even a 10*10*10?)

I'd say 5x5 and 4x4.
I average 28 on 3x3, and 2:55 5x5, I have a 1:20 average (about the same as) with 4x4, but then again, 4x4 and pyra are my best events.
5x5 for sure though

@Jonny: You should also work on Magic, as it's easy to learn quickly.

On 4x4 and 5x5, try learning a new edge pairing way, or practice on lookahead.

I have very big problem with my MF8 square-1 vII(with ball core). Twist moves are good not as smooth like in cubetwist but its good. But U and D layers turn terrible. It's so hard to turn. Everyone say mf8 square-1 is the best choice and cubetwist square pop too much. Its true it pop like hell sometimes but wtf i thought mf8 will be much better in fact i just lost money for crapy cube. is there anything what can I do?

I had the same problem. Do you have any lubix or differential oil? Just put some of that on the pieces and it will turn amazingly. Lots of cubes need lube (even just a tiny bit helps) before they are good.
