I'm not quite sure if to put this here or in Hardware, but what can I use to make my flat V-Cube 3 less...clicky?

Honestly, I beleive that the DaYan cubes (specifically the GuHong and ZhanChi are superior to the V3 in every way. That being said, Crazybadcuber has a video where he mods his V3 to be like a GuHong. I recommending trying some of the things he does there if you do not want to buy another cube.

Is there any way to generate algorithms in cube-explorer with incomplete facelets? For example, if you want to generate an oll, is there any way to find the optimal solution without going through every permutation of that oll? Or is there another cube program in which you can generate algs with incomplete facelets?

Right-click to ignore stickers and Ctrl-left-click to define orientation. Like this:

I dont SEE it, but I definitely feel it. Lubix is significantly better than shock oil which is slightly better than Atomic Cube Lube.

Ok, if you say so. It would be hard to say which is the better lube. Some lubes work better on different cubes. Sometimes the cube improves, but it is because of other things like breaking in. It is unfortunate if the lube really is repackaged shock oil.

In CFOP, it is suggested to do cross on bottom to avoid a cube rotation after the cross (assuming they're not doing F2L on left or something). Is it the same with Roux? Should I be aiming for having the block on the bottom left as soon as it's done, or is it not worth it?

Yes, both left and right block should be on the bottom.

Also where can I find Winter Variation (F2LL) algs?

i'm learning cfop with 4lll
averaging about 50-1:00
current goal is reaching 40-49 seconds with 4LLL [after this gotta learn full pll or oll,but that happens then, not now]
now i have question:
what is better to practice: cross on bottom or learn intuitive f2l/4LLL from different angles ?
or maybe both ? what order would be preferable ?
thnx in advance = )

cross on bottom is easy so i would learn that first. :)
