ok, so i once got my V-5 signed by bob burton and rowe hessler. but i really want to use the cube. im going to chaange the stickers. but, how do i take the sharpie of the peices?

Hey, I'm working on 4x4's and decided to learn K4, I really like it. But I got to the last layer, and want to know if there is a way to solve it using normal OLL/PLL. I really don't feel like learning ALL those algos just to be able to do LL. So I'm asking before I look into something else.

I really like how the F3L is set up, and its really easy to me. But if I can't do the LL OLL/PLL style then there isn't any point in continuing learning this.

All help is appreciated.

I read the page before I asked the question. I read the tutorial before I asked the question.

The Question was , "Is there a way to solve the LL using OLL/PLL?"

Is it possible? Not, Whats K4?

You can but you'd rather CLL/ELL. You can use OLL/PLL for CLL if you cant be bothered to learn it, and just use comms for ELL.

The megaminx s scrambled with R+'s and D-'s and U's. Does every case on the megaminx can be done with these moves?
and if so, what is the proof?
This page explains the notation and gives a statistical analysis of the quality of the scrambles. It also includes a link to the source code that was used for the analysis. It is important to understand that in the megaminx scramble notation "R" and "D" have different meanings from ordinary use in algorithms and even other scramblers. In megaminx scramble notation "R" and "D" require rotation of the puzzle, not the face. As a result, new faces are continuously being rotated into the R, D and U positions. I use the iiTimer app for iPod/iPad and the megaminx scrambler has consistently produced well-scrambled states.

The answer is no, there are unreachable positions. The proof is very simple: there are 10^68 or so different positions on the megaminx, but the scrambler can generate only 10^21 or so different scrambles..

Can the scrambler only generate 10^21 different scrambles using 70 moves, or any number of moves?
