Wut. Am I the only waterman user?
I'd like to know the answer to the question too :)
I have always respected somerandomkidmike as my inspiration. He averages 16 sec iirc.

Nope. Josef Jelink.

Also, if you consider yourself a waterman user you can consider me one too. I know more algs for it and am faster than you.

Just out of curiosity, I know you've had at least one sub-20 single (a la, your 20 methods video), but what do you reckon you usually average?

PS: IMO, there should be a nub friendly tutorial for Waterman. Like Waffle's Rouxtorial, just for Waterman. Don't think there is one already... (And it definitely doesn't help that I don't know much about it >.>)

How fast are you? I'm sure you're not THAT slow. We don't need to be too fast to tell the world about the wonderful method that is waterman.

Edit: I think Stachu meant it specifically to me in a broader sense. I deleted that little snippet from my previous post now though to avoid the tiny chance of trouble.

If you want to make the site with me just email me :)

I haven't timed my Waterman solves. I do them only on occasion for the heck of it. I use commutators for the more difficult steps and I use CMLL for the corners (lol). I know absolutely NO Waterman-only algorithms.

So, yeah. I'm pretty slow.

Why would you need comms?
You should try somerandomkidmike's faster way, which comes natural for us Rouxers.
First layer-1E => z rotation then CELL (lol made up that term) => redges with keyhole => midges.

And I don't know any algs either and don't see the need for them :D

Edit: tweaking the CMLLs a bit should give you usable algs.
Or COLL is fine I guess.

No idea. probably 18 with no practise and I imagine I could get down to 16 with a few hours of practise.

I don't think Waterman is a great method. Full layer minus an edge > Full layer. You can see how Roux was developed after Gilles realised this.

5BLD; I'm not a waterman user, I'm a Roux user. Roux is my main method for speed. Yours too.

Hmm what counts as sub1minute? I have an average of 12, best avg12: 50.34 (σ = 4.20), but I got 2 1min+ does that count as sub1min? Am I sub 1 min yet?

Yes, if you get very few over 1 minute, and alot under 55 seconds, then I would cosider it sub 1min. I'm guessing for the solves above 1minute, you made a mistake, or you were mind fked.

could anyone who has had experience with lightake tell me if they are safe, reliable and good or not? also if anyone has used their DHL service could you tell me how it is.
