Is there any difference between these two 3x3x7's? The assembled one says "Cubic" in the description and the DIY does not. I have the cubic 3x3x5 that came fully assembled and I also have the DIY 3x3x7 and right off the bat I noticed that the 3x3x5 seems to be much much higher quality than the 3x3x7. Is this just how they're made or is the word cubic actually a description of quality when it comes to these products. If the cubic versions of these products are indeed better quality I'll most likely beupgrading my 3x3x7 but I was hoping someone could shed s bit of light before I vested my money.

Thanks in advance

Those are the same puzzle. The first one comes in pieces, which is why it's called DIY, and the second looks like it comes assembled in the box. Hope that helps.

I realize that one is already assembled the other not, thank you though. What's throwing me off here is the word cubic. On this link http://www.cubedepotusa.com/apps/webstore/products/category/419942 some of the product are described as cubic, while others are not. Because the cubic 3x3x5 that I have seems to be made of much more quality plastic than the non-cubic 3x3x7 that I have I'm beginning to wonder if the word cubic describes the quality of the plastic in some way.

no, cubic means it is cube, i.e. 3x3x5 has in bottom and top layer pieces cutted horizontaly, so all pieces aren't same size. When it's not cubik, all pieces are practicaly identical, but it's more tower than cube... both have differnet mechanism, but i tried neither of them

If a guy has registered for his first competition and he is taking part in 5+ events, but he couldn't go for the competition due to an urgent work, will his WCA profile page be made?

Only c4y makes 3x3x5 and 3x3x7(cubic version). Both have the same plastic.
Your 3x3x7 is cubic, unless all of the pieces are normal sized, then it is a cuboid.
The most likely reason is the fact that the 3x3x7 pieces are smaller, the molding process effects the quality somehow.
Cubic describes the fact that the puzzle is cube shaped.

From what I understand, isn't it extremely hard to to anything intuitively on the last layer. If you turn anything besides AUF, you mess up f2l

Commutators can be used to affect pieces on the last layer, and commutators are completely intuitive. Try looking up something about them.
And even if you don't understand commutators, I would still say that A-perms and [M,U] EPLLs (and by extension, ELLs) can be quite intuitive.

take the alg you would do right handed, and transpose it to the left hand.

R U R' becomes L' U' L

so v2, fail or win?

does anyone know yet?
Someone apparently already has it.

Your welcome. And yes I do know.
I was just in a hurry and forgot to quote you in my first post.

I know how that is having just gotten dinged with two infraction points for double posting myself.
