What should I do to break in my A-V besides just solve a bunch? I just got one in the mail and it's........crap. I honestly prefer my storebought at this point. It locks up and it's ridiculously slow. I loosened the tension up a bit but anymore and I'm afraid it might start to pop.

Does it just need a good dose of lube and a few weeks of use, or what?

Which beginner's method offers the best transition into Friedrich? I need to teach a couple of friends and I don't think Dan Brown's method is it.

Mine was the same way. I just lubed it and solved and it improved a little bit. I would suggest keeping it at a tight setting. It seems to pop if it's even a little bit too loose. I really don't like AV that much though.

My V5 is having a lot of problems locking up badly on reverse corner cuts. Has anyone ever tried sanding down the outer corners of the center corner pieces in order to prevent this?

You need reverse corner cutting? On a v cube 5?
Get a YJ 5x5. Disregard the fact it's a KO

I appreciate the fact that you answered, but that wasn't really an answer to my question.

KK sorry.
Try to turn more accurate.
When I looked at my corners, they were already round, but not really sanded.

Who uses Gatsby??

If you mean the Hair Gel, I do.

Yea can you tell me What the colours Purple and grey are used for :\
and its not gel its wax (:

idk, wax or gel, i'm not that good at English.
um, I don't think if the color matters. what matters, is what is written on it.
mine is yellow, but under the word Gatsby, it is written "super hard"
that is why I bought it.
how ever maybe only yellow ones are super hard!
I can't believe I'm answering this on a cubing forum!!!!

What is the alg for the Square-1 EO case where the top is adjacent, and the bottom is opposite? Lars Vandenbergh's site has it, but it's kinda weird and did nothing except scrambled it. Other places only have other cases of EO, and not the one I want. Help please?
