So, what cube is the best to get? I average around 26 but I feel I can easily average 22 by getting a new one (I spend way too much time trying to prevent a pop or simply locking up). I'm willing to spend up to 25 bucks, but anything cheaper but not crap would be appreciated

AV, FII, GHII, and Dayan GuHong are all popular. You really need to try a wide variety of cubes out and choose your favourite. It's all personal preference. Go to a competition/meetup and someone there will be willing to let you try their cubes.

It's a popular cube, it's certainly a good one. But to be honest, I don't know if that's a fair price. Check for the price on other sites, for example, lightake.com
