You can do it with both J perms too (that's how I permute everything on Square-1). That way you only need to learn one alg and its mirror instead of two completely different algs. OLL can be done with F sexy F' and sune.

Alternatively, you can do every OLLCP with just FRURUF/Sune/Niklas/Sexysledge, and then make some U perm out of those algs, and then use that to solve EPLL. I found a U perm, but it's quite long:
FRURUF = F
Sune = S
Niklas = N
Sexysledge = L
' = left/right mirror
U perm = L F F N' (U2) S' (U')

Can you explain me in a simple language? I am not the best cuber you can find and I am not so familiar with cubing words. BUt still thanks for helping :D

For a beginner, you can look up the beginner's method. That should teach you how to use F R U R' U' F' and R U R' U R U2 R' to orient the last layer, and an A perm and a U perm for permuting it. They'll explain it better than I will. My way was just another suggestion that works, but is also quite hard to learn; I wouldn't recommend it.

Oh, come on, at least learn adjacent adjacent (R2 U M2 U' R2 = 1,0/3,0/-1,-1/-2,1/) and opp-opp (M2 U2 M2 = 1,0/-1,-1/6,0/1,1/). :)
Those can solve pretty much everything efficiently.
I use M2 U2 M2 for H/Z perms (I forgot about that when writing my post), but I've only ever used the first one for when I get parity when permuting the first layer - I've never really thought about using it for permuting edges for the first layer, or even for Z perms. I might try using that if I ever practise square-1 between now and 5 minutes before my next comp, which is unlikely :p

Anyone know whether this is the v1 or v2? I don't know the difference between the two versions...

I do know FRURUF, but does repeating it orient the layer? Where can I learn perms?

I tried memorizing PLL algs by cutting them into chunks (M2 U/M2 U2/M2 U/ M2). It's sorta hard to explain.. Anyway, when I cut them into chunks, I end up taking short pauses before I move onto the next chunk. Should I avoid learning algs like this?

It's not really an issue, soon it will become muscle memory and you won't have to think at all.

Anywhere from a day to a week or two, but typically only a few days.

A question of my own, for anyone - when will the location for US Nationals be decided? I really want to go next year, but it would take a lot of planning ahead.

Well, last year the announcement was made in early December, so I'd expect a similar timetable this year.
