How can I stop myself from doing 3x3 and focus on 4x4?
I found getting a good cube motivated me to do 4x4; when I got an AoSu I did 200 solves in one and a half days. Sadly, it wasn't mine, so I had to give it back to the person who owned it on Monday morning :( If you already have a decent cube though, try hiding your main 3x3 somewhere, or asking someone else to hide it.
(I might actually do this so I can focus on other events more)

Can anybody suggest the puzzle for each cubic event and Mega/Pyra that I would like according to my likings?
My likings: Light, fast, decent corner cutting and a smooth/crunchy feel. I like the feel of SS 4x4 more than the Aosu because the Aosu is very heavy and sluggish.
I also have slightly small hands(Unlike Kevin Hays) that are comfortable holding cubes up to a 5x5.
