So I'm currently Sub-15 (pb, a05 and a012 around 11/12/12), and I'm wondering how hard partial edge control is, and if it's worth learning. I've always shied away from that kind of last slot kind of thing, but if it's really worth it, I'm willing to give it a shot. What's everyone's thoughts on the subject?

11, with 4lll??? Your f2l must be like 5 seconds... And you execute your oll and pll extremely fast.. So it's just a matter of turning faster???

I'll try to put in a video soon.

You prob can't see the cube that we'll but please try to help.

I know full OLL and PLL. I meant partial edge control during F2L. The dot cases still suck, and I'm learning COLL, so the more I can use that the better.

What is the god's number for solving corners on a 3x3x3 without disturbing edges?

What about the god's number for solving edges without disturbing corners?

EDIT: figured out that the edges god's number is 20.

It's definitely worth "learning", but it's fairly intuitive. Using just a sledgehammer, you can almost always orient all of your edges by controlling your edges when you're creating and inserting during your last 2 slots, it does take some lookahead however. Or you could just learn some VHLS (not to be confused with VLS), I would just learn the first subset, learning split pair and mirrored cases isn't really that helpful IMO. I think there's only about 7 cases, and 2 of them are sledge and the other is RUR'. I think that VHLS might be the better way to go if you're using it for COLL.

Are there any rules for shapeshifting cuboids, as in that I can tell whether it has the ability to change shape just by looking by its dimensions?
