I am new and what would be good for a first cuboid or cubic puzzle. 3x3x4. Or 3x3x5. Could you also list some shapeshifting cuboid puzzles as well?

I'm looking for a new 3x3.
I currently have a Zhanchi and it's not the greatest for me :S

I want to know which of the Dayan cubes are the smoothest.

I would get a modded guhong or zhanchi from lubixcube.com or thecubicle.us , their zhanch silk is nice.

You should probably buy a ghosthand i have heard that it i a pretty quiet cube and is also pretty decent. You can save your lingyun for later at it is uncontrollably fast.

My ghosthand is uncontrollably fast. it will do easy u3s

V-cube 5 or 6?

Heres the problem, I have a crappy rubiks 5x5, but.. I'm thinking of getting a better one.
I also have a v-cube 7, So I'm thinking of getting a 6x6 I've heard that the 6x6 requires ALOT of modifing check out MMAP
Buget-wise I have 40$ Enough for me to get a 6x6/5x5 (My parents will pay the shipping.) Also the 5x5 requires little modifying.
Thanks for helping :D

I would buy Shengshous. They are good without any modding, and you might be able to get both for $40, depending on how much shipping costs to where you live.

Unless you are very into 5x5 and 6x6, and are willing to do a lot of modding, shengshous are the best option

What is the fastest cube with the worst corner cuts?

Looking for a cube that can be solved fast as long as each move is done properly. I rely way to heavily on my dayan's corner cutting ability and I want to clean up my solves, any recommendations?

Looking for a new OH cube

Hello!

I am currently making up an order for some new cubes, I do OH most of the time.

-coloured Guhong
-stickered Guhong (not sure which colour yet ;))

However, I want a third cube in my order :) The problem is, I am not sure which one to get.

I am getting either a FII or a zanchi. I know Zhanchi is a good cube, but something says to me that it isn't proper for OH, and FII is...

What do you think and why?

Thanks in advance!:)

Guhongs and Zhanchis are best for OH as they are for two handed.
I heard really good reviews on the zhanchi silk from the chubicle :)

Thanks, yes I have read/watched a lot of reviews about both cubes aswell, still not sure what to do, at the moment FII has the most preferences.

Don't know if this should go here

What would be the top three cubes for Roux? (M-Slice Orientated)

I haven't tried any other cubes, but my ZhanChi with a little Lubix is amazing for M-slices. I only use them for correcting cross and H and Z perms though.

What do you think of the lingyun v2, is it better then the 1st?

I haven't tried them, but as far as I know, the only difference is that the edge 'gaps' are longer so the Dayan torpedos fit. This is why Lubix made torpedos that fit the V1 (same for the GuHong).

What do you think of the lingyun v2, is it better then the 1st?

I love it. It's small, fast, crispy. It cuts corners great - I can do line-to-line with OH, 45 with two. It reverse cuts about 2/3 of a cubie. It will NOT pop, no matter how hard you try.
I haven't tried a lingyun v1, but from what I've heard, it's just as good, maybe a tad bit faster, except it pops like heck.

I personally enjoy the f-II, ZhanCHi, and the GuHong.

Lingyun v2 is good for M slices as well - its cuts the middle layer like no other cube I've used.

I've never used one before so I wouldn't know. How much does it cut?

With M slice cutting, it goes 2 ways - U layer misaligned doing M and M layer misaligned doing U. Reverse/Forward cuts do not exist because each one is really both.
I can cut about 3/4 of a center piece (i.e., do part of a M' then cut by doing a U). If I do a (partial) U first, it can do about 2/3 of a cubie, 3/4 on some sides.
