Does anyone has an idea of a really good 4x4x4? I have one now, which I believe to be a Rubik's brand (don't remember exactly since I bough it from amazon four years ago). However, this cube is really bad even if it is lubed (locks and pops).

So, any advices?

And can I use Diff oil 50k on 4x4 with the same results as for the 3x3? My 3x3s diff oil lubed cubes are amazing.

Thanks.

For the first question, Shengshou v3.

For the second one, I'm not a lube expert.

Dayan ZhanChi is expensive...it's smooth, it's fast, and lockups are less... I hhhhiiiigggghhhhllllyyyy recommend it

the zhanchi is generally very good(WR holder uses it), the guhong(not sure about II, probably similar to first) would be very smooth, the lingyun vII is VERY fast, but also loud/clicky. Don't get the fIII i have not heard good things about it. Depends on your preference in terms of feel.

The Type C Wittwo is very fast. It is set up similarly to a Zhanchi in structure. I really love mine. However, its impossible to say that a cube is the "best" cube of its size/shape.

But I would recommend this cube. But I also recommend waiting for even more input from this thread. I don't feel I"m exactly knowledgeable enough about 2x2s.

I have a lingyun v2, i am a beginner(not even gonna say times). I lubed this with silicube(like lubix but cheaper) and it is insanely fast. It is also very loud. Is there an alternative that is just a little slower and less loud? Basically, guhong v2 or zhanchi?
