I currently own an F-II cube, but some people have told me that i should get a ZhanChi instead as the F-II will get harder to turn after a lot of usage. Should i get the ZhanChi and where should i get it from?

I went from a well-used F-II to ultimate zhanchi from Lubix and its 10x faster with 10x better corner-cutting but also pricey. You can google search for a regular zhanchi but I'm not sure how well it is non modified

Hmm i might go for it if it is actually that much better than the F-II cube, would it last for a long time though, that's one of my main concerns and would the stickers be in good condition? (Sorry for all the questions)

EDIT: Just checking, there is a new cube called the Lubix Fusion (http://www.lubixcube.com/Lubix_Cube/Purchase.html) and i was wondering if it was worth it to get it rather than getting the Ultimate Lubix Zhanchi as it is only $6 more. Anyone with one give me an opinion?

Hi,
I was just wondering. Should I get a Guhong or a Zhanchi? (Regular, white plastic, non modded, will be lubed with maru lube)
Sorry if this has been posted before, its not like ill go through 100 pages.

*sigh* its personal preference... if you're fast (i.e. sub 20) the zhanchi probably would suit you better as its a little faster...otherwise a Guhong is a pretty solid choice

EDIT oh and if you use a white cube normally get a white cube as it might affect your recognition (and make sure you don't get ripped off... mod it yourself)

I just won a running comp (5k) and got 75$ :D I'm looking for a 2x2 and a 4x4 on a budget of $25. Any suggestions? (Preferably bought of lightake)

I know I'm sort of quoting something really old, but....
does adding torpedoes to a guhong make it basically a zhanchi? and is there a place to get only torpedoes for less than 7.99?
You could get these: http://51morefun.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=81&products_id=245
It's a bit cheaper (with shipping, I'm guessing maybe 4 dollars cheaper?), although I'm not sure if these are made to fit a guhong. You could probably modify the torpedoes easily enough so that they'd go in.

Get a zhanchi diy

Do you know which sites sell these? Only one I found was http://www.cubedepotusa.com/apps/webstore/products/show/2523032 and they're out of stock.

Get the Dayan 1 cube. Very fast, cuts corners about 40 degrees, and doesn't lock up. Plus its about the same weight as a GuHong or maybe your storebought.

Sorry for my ignorance, but are these listed explicitly as Dayan 1? Or are these the same as just Dayan? e.g. is this it? http://lightake.com/detail.do/sku.3...Cube_Component_Pieces_Transparent_Green-26825

Thanks for the replies, sorry I was slow in getting to them.
