I would personally go with the QJ Megaminx II because it comes nearly perfect out of the box.
I would go with the CubeTwist Magic because I feel like it give you the same speed, with a better durability
And I love the GuHong, but it would take a lot of modding to get it to a point where it is really good. I would recommend the Zhanchi, but it really depends on your speed.

Yes. I'm kind of the other way around, although my SS is getting a little bit better. Maybe mine just got broken in finally? :p I still think it's too small for my hands...
talking about the ss 4x4 i yesterday made a mod of my own to it and actually now it doesn't LOCK UP AT ALL!! its amazing i dont have a mf8+dayan 4x4 but i may buy one just to compare it with my modded ss 4x4

Has anyone tried Izo Stickers? I am planning on buying 10-20 dollars worth, but how do they stack up to CubeSmith?

Dayan Cube Questions!

Hello guys i have some questions about Dayan cubes and which one i should get. I currently have a guhong, but i am thinking about getting a Zhanchi or Lingyun V2. I average around 24 seconds. I heard that both those cubes are extremely fast so i want to get the one that is just good for where im at. I also heard that putting torpedoes in these cubes helps prevent pops.

What would be better.. a Lingyun V2 with torpedoes or a Zhanchi with torpedos?

Is lubix the best lubricant for these cubes?

Thanks,
Mitch

I have both the Zhanchi and Lingyun V2.

The Zhanchi is the standard cube size, while the Lingyun V2 is noticeably smaller.

They are both very fast, and the Lingyun V2 is crispier than the Zhanchi.

If you like smaller cubes/really crispy cubes, I'd go with the Lingyun V2. Otherwise, get the Zhanchi.

And yeah, Lubix is the best lube.

For the Zhanchi (not sure about the Lingyun), you don't really need the torpedoes. The Zhanchi barely pops without them, and the torpedoes just slow down the cube.

Woah, anyone buy from this shop before/ positive it is a V-cube and not a KO?
Thinkgeek's awesome, I buy from them all the time. I can safely say the site is not a scam. I never actually bought that cube from them, but judging by the "V" in the center, I'm guessing it's a v-cube. Don't buy the square-1 on their site though, that's a piece of crap.
