For the Zhanchi (not sure about the Lingyun), you don't really need the torpedoes. The Zhanchi barely pops without them, and the torpedoes just slow down the cube.

Thanks. So should i get a zhanchi and not get torpedoes? what about an alpha CC. I dont know much about any of these cubes, considering i just got back into cubing

Also, i was considering gettting a 5x5. I was wondering which is the best out now and what most people use. I use to have a v cube but it started to lock up (that weird shape changing one) and popping. I dont have one now and planning on getting a great one. average like 3 minutes but if i get a good one i will actually practice.

Thanks,
Mitch

You can't just get a Zhanchi without torpedoes, you have to get them with torpedoes. If you don't like them, then you can just take apart the edge piece and remove the torpedoes. As for the alpha CC, it's a decent cube, but it's nowhere near as good as a Zhanchi or a Guhong.

Ok cool. I will probably get the zhanchi

Get a Shengshou 5x5.

Alright thats what i thought, until i watched reviews and a lot of people were saying it locks to much and other problems.

@ MCRcuber:
All cubes have pros and cons, the shengshou is still one of the best cubes out there, and was used to break a world record. Go with a v- cube though, if you don't trust the shengshou. After all it's just about personal preference...

I have a Dayan Lingyun v2. It came to me as a DIY kit. I assembled, lubed and tensioned it perfectly. Tensions on five sides a fine, but green looks like tight than others. I tried to loosen it, but still it's more tight than others. It's really annoying, sometimes it causes popping. Any ideas how can I fix it?

is this speedcube worth bying? and could I get it cheper somewhere?

The Zhanchi itself is a great cube, but that kind of Zhanchi, with the colored plastic instead of stickers, isn't legal in competitions. If you want it just to have around, that's fine, but keep in mind that you won't be able to use it at competitions. As for getting it cheaper, I think that's one of the cheapest places you can buy it. However, it ships from China, so it takes a few weeks to get it. If you want it sooner, although for a few dollars more, you could buy from speedcubeshop or cubedepot.

I am looking for a good 4x4, I have a Rubik's brand currently that is so loose after how much I have used it that I can't turn it casually without pops. I've heard there are a lot of good 4x4s, anyone care to recommend one?

these are few things i'll do
- Check the CenterPieces, does it normal like the other?
- Check the Screw, Spring, and washer. does it normal like the other?
- If all normal, i just tension it like the other side, but little looser, then it feel same right??

about popping, i dont really understand about that.

Well, i need a cube that have a Smooth turn, Good Cut-Corn, and Fast also :D
I cant decide what i must buy for, a C4U or FIII (3) ??
can anyone help me ?
Zhanchi.
well, i recommend you LanLan 4x4x4, it has a good Cut-Corn, Nice Gliding (after lubrication of course :P)
Lanlans aren't actually that good compared to some of the cubes that are out today. I'd recommend Shengshou v3.

To be fair, LanLans aren't horrendous. The outer layers are actually pretty decent, but it's the inner layer corner cutting that really kills it. And there's so many better options.

Hello.
I want a cube that locks up as little as possible and is good for fast corner cutting. Which one should i get?
