Hello, I just wanted to ask what 4x4 and 2x2 i should get. Right now my mind is set on the lan lan 4x4 and v cube 2. I've heard these are really good. Any recommendations?

I would definitely recommend the Shengshou V3 4x4. It is quite fast and doesn't lock up much at all. It has some good corner cutting which is great.
For 2x2, if you got the money, go for the Type C Wittwo. It has amazing corner cutting, more than 45 degrees, very fast and smooth with a slight crisp. One of the best. One of the best features is that it can reverse corner cut, rather than a V-Cube,which can lock up a lot because of that.

Shengshou V1 and Shengsho V2 are said to have bad lockups. The Shengshou V3 still has some lockups, but much much less. Will a lock up affect performance? Of course. But it depends on the amount of lockups on the V3 and that can vary between each person.

You should get a v2,then glue the caps on.v2s are better than v1s

i currently have a zhanchi but im 11 so its too big for my hands when solving oh. is there a cube which is fast and doesn't lock up but is very small. i have to let go when doing h perm for 2 handed(M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2) so i do ( M2 U' etc ).

Smaller is 6.0cm, and larger is 6.6cm. No idea about 51morefun.

Occasinoally it has weird lockups though. But if you can learn to love it, it's a great cube. And yes, it is quite small, yet fast. The M-slices are very good.

Apropos of nothing, I just wanted to say the GuHong Version 2 is the best cube I have ever solved. It feels like all the things that are great about the previous DaYan cubes brought together in one peerless epic combo. I love it, I absolutely love it.

QJ, MF8 V2 and MF8 V2 modded are all good. They're pretty much the same price, so get whichever you want. If you really want a good one, get a Mefferts, but it's about $30 and the other three I mentioned are nearly as good.
