What does the "frosted" mean, is it just something with the coloring? It seems btw that this one has the same stickers as the Mini 4x4, I love them I was first thinking of a tiled one, but not if I can have those stickers.

They mean frosted stickers. Like the ones that you have on the Mini QJ 4x4, yes. Not smooth stickers like the ones on most 3x3s.

I've heard a lot of people say the QJ one is good (and that's what current WR holder Odder uses).

QJ is kinda hit or miss. IIRC Odder buys like 10-20 QJ pyraminxes when he buys some.

The 2x2 Eastsheen isn't nearly as good as some other 2x2's out there. Ex: LanLan, Ghosthand, Maru, etc. (All eastsheen cubes suck in general now, actually.) And from what I've heard about those two cubes, DaYan ZhanChi for sure. With some modding and lube, it is as good as a Lubix Elite (which requires ALOT of modding and basically the best cube on the market right now).

That's great. Attendant question; does it perform well with CRC, or is it better to buy the suggested Maru Lube?

I haven't used CRC on my minx, so I wouldn't know. Get the Maru lube anyway. It's nice to have handy and performs well.

What kind should I get? I just a 3x3 with good corner cutting and reverse corner cutting and few lockups... If it turned smoothly, that would be nice too. I've been cubing for 2-3 years with a rubiks brand cube, and I average about 35 with that. I have looked at the Haiyans Haiyan, and I think that's what I want, but what cube would you guys recommend?
