That's not maru lube, it it was maru lube it would say 'maru' on it. It's a generic silicone liquid. I would stick with the ones you know about, cause I've tried some rubbish lubes before.

I just wanted to say that I read loads and loads of posts in this thread before ordering a new (and my first proper speedcube) thanks to anyone who posted useful reviews etc.

I eventually went for the Dayan Guhong II - I ordered it late on sunday night and it arrived mid-morning on tuesday, much to my delight. It is the dogs balls when it comes to cubing imho, i haven't had one pop out of it yet and my alg times are so damn quick compared to any cube I have tried before. Even with it pretty tight it turns like a beaut, i put a bit of silicone spray in there too though for good measure of course and I can honestly say that I am 100% satisfied with it.

Probably a Guhong or Lunhui. Get some lube too while your at it for the guhong.

Yes. The GuHong has proven to be a revolutionary cube while the LunHui is new and apparently an upgrade to the GuHong (or lingyun to be specific)

That's pretty much any Dayan...

Lingyun, Guhong, Zhanchi (not out yet), and even Lunhui (not really smooth, though, I hear) comes to mind...
You'd have to me more specific, I think.
