I want to try different types of 3x3s so I can find the perfect type for me
so far I have:
YLM (non magnetic)
rs3m 2020
Gan 356 X (numerical IPG)

These are all on the heavier side so I was thinking of buying a lighter cube
They are also in the medium stability range

Which cube should I try next?

3rd
try the tengyun v1. Also I was asking @Scollier about his compression, but whatever

Giiker i3se or the GAN 356i V2 ?
Assume they are same price.
Have the giiker. Smooth turning, strong magnets, little corner cut. But stickers starting to come off after a few weeks. So I think I want the GAN. And found it at slightly under what I paid for the still returnable giiker.

Gan 356 i Carry is available for pre-order, I think it's the best smart cube

Rubiks connected is Stickered. And can not get the I Carry yet. Really want a replacement.
And the giiker was working fine for me. Not using official app.

My giiker has chipped stickers after 3 weeks. I know they can be replaced. But I hate that when all my other cubes are it stickered. But since I can get the GAN for $40-ish brand new with gyro, that is tempting.
The worst thing about helping my son with LEGO is to put stickers on.

giiker has low quality stickers it seems, most cubes don't have chipping issues

If you're talking about the new Gan I carry, it doesn't have gyroscope, but it seems to perform well.

This is from the Gan I carry description in The Cubicle:

the only smart cubes with gyroscope are the:
GoCube Edge
Gan I
Gan I v2

Decided to return the bad stickered Giiker, and wait for the GAN i Carry.
But still ordered more cubes to try out and possible give away.
GuHong V4 (x2) + Tengyun V2r. I did not like my Tengyun V1 initially, but after using only that for a few days, and my Thunderclap V3 (Close to Valk Power M I read) as travel, I decided I like this style of cubes. Still prefers my GTS3M for fast solves, but I use the others for everything untimed. I am surprised how little I like my RS3M (extra magnets, lubed faster) compared to the other fast cubes now. I used to like it more than the Thunderclap/Tengyun V1. Expect that 1 GuHong might become a travel/work cube.

YJ Mirror as my first mirror/shape shift.

Meilong 3M + YLM (x2) + Another RS3M (mostly for trying/giveaway)

Do you guys think the Valk 3 M is a good speedcube in 2021?
Been wondering about this. A top cube from 2016. Do you think that it could be main worthy in 2021?

yes, I think some top solvers (not sure which, someone should fill this in) still use it.
actually many cubes from 2017 and 2018 are still good speedcubes. you could probably get world class times with a little magic m, or valk m, or gts2m, even with a budget cube
