Definitely still good. Cubing technology has been growing more extravagant and less actually better than before, unlike the steep curve from 2010 to 2016.
I have the GTS2M from around that time and it’s still very good, just a bit flexy

Yes, the Valk 3 M is main worthy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Indian NR holder uses the Valk 3 M. I was viewing his livestream when someone said the Valk 3 M's were going out of production. He was sad.
Assuming you mean
this is the latest video I found from 2018 but yes it is a valk

Even if valks go out of production I don't think it will be hard to get them because they were produced for so long. As a comparison it's quite easy to buy new zhanchis today.

Ive been considering buying the Cubicle Pro Shop Valk 3 M. My rs3m isn’t doing it for me personally. It keeps misaligning layers and corner twists alot during solves. Ive been also thinking on getting the Tengyun v2 or the Gan 356 m. Which should i get?

so i quit cubing for a year, and have a comp this weekend. (i havent practiced or really touched a cube since like august 2020). Has rhe hardwear changed at all? just wondering if the tengyun v2 is still viable and competing against top cubes

For sure. I bought the Tengyun v2 and started maining it months after it came out, and I still main it now.

welcome back!
are you attending Cubing @ home?
yes, the tengyun v2 is still a top contedor, in fact I am looking into buying it rn
pretty much all that happened while you were gone was:
Gan released a new flagship
Dayan released the guhong V4 (many people main it)
Speedstacks released a teaser of the v5 stackmat (everybody hates it)
Gan released the cheapest 3x3 smart cube at $35
Gan released a gan timer

Sorry about the double post.
Is the guhong v4 quiet like the tengyuns?
The tengyun v1 is the most quiet, followed by the guhong v4, then the tengyun v2 the loudest of the three (but still decently quiet)

is it fast and blocky like the v1?
the tengyuns are definitely not blocky at all. the guhong v4 is snappy but not really blocky. anyway i would suggest you get the tengyun instead of the guhong v4 mainly because the guhong v4 breaks easily

sorry for asking so many questions:
What does the valk elite feel like?
does it feel anything like the normal valk m?
which cube does it most ressemble?
I've been maining the valk elite for almost a year. I would describe the feel as glide-y, a bit buttery, as well as some of the qualities of the original valk: crunchy, crisp, and sliiightly blocky (not nearly as much as the original valk imo). The feel is pretty unique and i can't think of another cube with a similar feel. The performance of the valk elite is also quite great. Cornercutting is effortless, the speed is perfectly balanced imo, and it's quite stable. If you are getting the valk elite i suggest lubing not only the pieces but also the core. The cube isn't that great ootb.
Here's a video showing how I lube the core. It really makes the performance and feel better.

a friends RS3M had become way too lose after 3-4 weeks of use. Seems like some people have issues with screws working themself out. Tigthening a bit (and lube job) and it was a different cube altogether.

Hi, I’m averaging about 30 seconds with the tiles Rubik’s brand cube. I’m planning to buy my first ever speedcube. I’d like to choose between the moyu weilong wrm and its 2020 version. Is there any big difference between them? Thx!!!
