I want to start learning 4x4. I average 2:30 right now with a method I intuitively figured out which is essentially an inefficient form of reduction. I purchased a yuxin little magic 4x4m a few months back and it feels very heavy and sluggish to me. I main a YLM for 3x3 and also bought a magnetic ylm 5x5 which I think is amazingly and turns great, its more than enough quality for someone of my skill level. The 4x4 is noticibelly less enjoyable to solve with compared to the other ylms.

Can anyone's offer comparisons to other budget or midrange 4x4 that would be a good option for a 4x4 noob like me? The ms?
I personally would have preferred the AoSu GTS2M or the QiYi WuQue M or the Valk 4M for a nice speed but great controllability. For the budget thing, I would recommend the QiYi QiYuan 4x4 or the YJ MGC 4x4M or the QiYi MS 4x4M or even the MFJS MeiLong 4x4M. These have a kind of OK performance. Corner cutting is not quite great but would do for you since you claimed you are a noob at 4x4s. And the magnetic strength in the MGC is also Quite-The-Okay-Type I guess. Please check out the reviews for the cubes I suggested to pickup the best out of them.

PS! I would recommend you not to even look at the GAN 460M! It feels like hell in the world of 4x4s! Adjustment? Get ready to pop out your brains then!

Go with meilong m 4x4 or mgc 4x4. Qiyi ms 4x4 is not as good. Not saying that it is bad, but meilong m 4x4 or mgc 4x4 are just so good. Qiyuan is heavy, slow and pops in every solve. Don't get it.

One of the following:

1) Qiyi MS
2) YJ Yusu v2M
3) Mofang Jiaoshi Meilong WITH magnets - either buy it that way or do it yourself - it's super easy, just follow my tutorial:

Just get the meilong. Cheaper than the mgc and performs as good as the mgc. Magnetize it with @Tabe 's tutorial. You may also wait for the magnetic meilong from moyu.

Hey, i need an upgrade from my xinghen 2x2, so what is the best 2x2? The mgc elite is up for pre order, so should i buy that?
Yeah, it's considered to be one of the best. The Valk 2, Tengyun, and MGC v1 2x2's are also very great performers so if you dont want to wait for a pre-order just get one of those.

Hello guys! I have been thinking a lot and I am interested in 2 cubes 3x3: QiYi MS and MoYu Meilong magnetic. Which of these do you think is better? And for what reason? Thanks! ;)
