I've been looking at getting a new 2x2 a lot recently, and I've narrowed my list down to the MoYu Weipo and the GAN 249 V2 M. I'm leaning towards the 249 V2 M, but is that really the best choice?

I swear I've asked this question before here...
So I just received that SuperNova Weipo M 2x2 and it is really great and i would highly recommend it.

When I was thinking about what 2x2 to get last month I was the same as you in the 2 choices (Gans 249 M or Weipo M) and I am really happy that I got the Weipo M. I think that I would enjoy the Gans 249 as well, but since I got mixed reviews on it I when with the Weipo instead.

I have a full review on it here: https://www.speedsolving.com/forum/threads/supernova-weipo-m-2x2-or-any-weipo-m-2x2.70418/

The difference between a 20 and 50 dollar cube is minamal. Sure a SM might be better than a GT2SM by some standards, but I would stick to under 30 bucks. The MF3RS2M by thecubicle is a very good cube that's some sub 10 people are using as a main. I would recommend it. The yuxin little magic M is also a great 3x3. But for me, I would get a MF3RS2M or a GTS2m :) hope it helped

I definitely agree with Duncan Bannon here. The MF3RS2 is a great cube used by many fast cubers now, and it's also very cheep. If you were truly a beginner and are moving from a Rubik's brand, you don't know if you continue cubing for a while so it will be wiser not to invest so much money and buying a cube like the GAN356. Moreover, I wouldn't buy a magnetic cube for the reason - even if the cube is that cheep, for the same reason as well as going for a magnetic cube from a Rubik's brand is a huge leap, and it is better to take it more slowly.
Hope I helped!

The last post of something like this was two years ago (https://www.speedsolving.com/forum/threads/what-is-a-good-oh-cube.60637/), and because I have recently started OH solving, and my cube (a non-magnetic GTS2) feels too big and unstable for me, I wanted to ask weather I should buy a different cube for OH. If I should, which one? Has things changed since 2016 or do people still mainly use the Mini AoLong/ZhanChi/WeiLong?
In Addition, I have bought magnets for my GTS2 and they are on their way (It's going to be my first magnetic puzzle :). I bought N35 4x2 magnets). Should I wait for them to arrive and magnetize my cube before buying a OH-only cube?

The Gan is definitely very slippery in stickerless.
is this a joke because no gan cubes are made stickerless? i think i remember reading something like this, but im confused with brands and numbers and letters ultimate edition v2 must buy magnetic exclusive air supreme for real II.
gan s
gan sm
gan ultimate (gan u?)
gan um
gan (gan advance?)
gan sv2
are these only and all the gan 3x3 cubes? (appart from the love pink limited edition)
does any of these come stickerless?
I find all these letters and words so annoyingly confusing. anything with different versions ever has this issue, its like people agreed on doing this just to watch me lose my mind

the last time i bought a rubiks cube was a dayan 5 and that was top of the top. im totally overwhelmed. I dont think i have a chance to get to clasify the gan 3x3 cubes, can anyone help me out?
I want to buy a gan brand 3x3 stickerless cube, what are my options? if the best option comes only in magnetic version i'll go for it but I rather do the magnetizing myself.
In the gans site it doesnt seem to be any stickerless 3x3 at all.
Oh never mind if i navigate trough the cubes menu i can't find any, but if i go right to the shop i can find that one you just linked me.
is that the only one? is it any good compared to the best gan air that might not come in stickerless version?
thanks in advance.

If you have small hands, then it’s great. But really, if you’re using a dayan zhanchi, any modern speedcube is amazing so go for anything (i.e Huanglong, GTS2M, MF3RS2M, Valk, GAN SM, etc)

ill stick to the valk 3 and either the weilong gts v2 or the weilong gts v3 if i hear good reviews, i'll get into the gans brand if things get a bit more clear, does that sound like a good plan?

Yes. The Valk should be a good choice, magnetic or not. But you have to get it in stickerless.

I'm going to magnetize a gans air S. Should I get the cubicle light or standard magnet kits?
Does your GAN S have slots for magnets?
If it does, then the ones that fit are 3x2 mm. Since cubicle magnets are 4×1,, they won't fit.
If your cube doesnt have slots, then go for the lite version. The SM has similar magnets to the strong kit, and it's a bit too strong.

Hi everyone. I took a little hiatus from cubing and coming back it looks like a lot of interesting new puzzles have come out. Particularly interested in the new 4x4s. I'm a huge fan of the Gan Air SM but I still regard the original Wuque as the best 4x4 of all time. So the question becomes - which new 4x4 to pick up, the Wuque Mini M or the Gan 460? Is one clearly better than the other? Does either one top the original Wuque?
