I voted GTS3.

But to be honest, if you have a GTS2, and you're happy with it, the GTS3 isn't too different.

I have a yuxin magic (non magnetic) and I have used it for several months, but recently a friend broke the corner stalk, so I am using this opportunity to upgrade to a magnetic cube. The problem is, I have a competition coming up this weekend, so I need a cube I can order on amazon (or a cube store that somehow has affordable 2 day shipping) I have a budget of 30 dollars (preferable around 25).

I have looked into the GTS2M, the Huanglong M, and the MF3RS2M.

I like faster cubes because I can set them up better. The speed of the little magic out of the box is perfect, for some reference.
I don't have an aggressive turn style, but I would like the cube to tolerate aggressiveness a little more than the Little Magic.
My current pick is the huanglong M, but I have never tried it and the MF3RS2 out. Also amazon cube vendors are difficult to trust so If you have a recommendation as to which magnetic version on amazon to pick, It would be appreciated.

A year ago or so I decided to take a rest on speedsolving and focus a little bit more in school. Now I've decided to come back, but now I'm very confused with all this new cubes.

I have a Moyu Aolong v2 that I bought when it just came out, the first month or so. I wanted to change it, but I don't really now what to choose, I've been looking through the internet and the ona that most convice me is the Moyu Weilong GTS 3M, I heard it's a really really good cube.

What are your opinions? Do you think it is a good option or another cube might be better?

Thank you very much ins advance

Best regards, Pecinajunior

First off, Welcome to these forums and back to cubing:)

I have not yet tried the Weilong GTS 3M out, but from what I have heard I would say that it would be one of the top (if not the top) option.
Some other cubes that are really good and popular are
1. Qiyi Valk M
2. Qiyi Valk Power M - This one and #1 are both really nice and I use both as my mains. If you are looking for a cruncher, louder, crisp feel then #1 would be for you, but if you are looking for a more butterier, smooth, and soft feeling the #2 would be the best for you. This is only comparing options 1 and 2, just FYI.
3. Gans 356 Air SM This is a really nice and smooth feeling cube, but also have a nice bumpy feel with the magnets.
4. Gans 354 M - Based on reviews, Really good;)
5. Yuxin Little Magic M - For a budget cube this is one of the best cubes (Aolong with option #6). I know that a lot of people use it as there main and if I had one I would use it as well. This cube has a sharp and chrispy turning style and it is one of the only cubes that has that feeling (I think).
6. MF3RS2 M - See #5 Compared to the YLM it is much smoother and not as sharp of a turning style.
7. I have only tried the Angstrom Gans Air SM, but any cube by Angstrom is going to be really good, so definitely a top contender.

There are a few other cubes that are good, but the above are some of the best. If you are not certain on what you want then I would recommend that you go to some comps and try out a bunch of different cubes and see what fits you best. Or the other option is (if you have a lot of cash to blow) is to order several different cubes and try them all out on your own:p.

I hope that this helps some, but please ask more questions of you have them.

I've been looking at getting a new 2x2 a lot recently, and I've narrowed my list down to the MoYu Weipo and the GAN 249 V2 M. I'm leaning towards the 249 V2 M, but is that really the best choice?

I swear I've asked this question before here...

Should I buy an expensive cube?
I don’t like the Rubik’s brand cube and i’m buying a new cube. What are the pros and cons of buying a more expensive cube like Gan Air 356 SM as my second cube?

Hello,There are some good budget cubes on the market right now. I can recommend YuXin Little Magic,MoYu MoFang JiaoShi MF3RS(or RS2) and possibly if you'd like to move onto other cubes you can buy the Moyu Cubing Classroom Set,includes:
MF2,MF3,MF4,MF5(Im not sure if mf5 is included.) Glad if I helped

The difference between a 20 and 50 dollar cube is minamal. Sure a SM might be better than a GT2SM by some standards, but I would stick to under 30 bucks. The MF3RS2M by thecubicle is a very good cube that's some sub 10 people are using as a main. I would recommend it. The yuxin little magic M is also a great 3x3. But for me, I would get a MF3RS2M or a GTS2m :) hope it helped

They are both great 2x2s. The 249 in stickerless is slippery (from what I have heard) and therefore if you like stickerless the Weipo might be a better option. But if black is what you want, either would be good. Keep in mind the 249 has magnets, so if you have a problem controlling 2x2, it might be better.

Thank you very much!!

I'll see tons of more reviews and more opinions, sadly I don't have enough money for all of them for now.
But for now I'll take even the Valk or the GTS, thank you again for your opinions and your time, appreciated!!

HC cube jk not really

GTS2M or Yuxin Huanglong M if you want a cube that’s the complete opposite of a Rubik’s Brand

I would maybe suggest not getting it with magnets. At your level magnets aren't going to help much and they probably aren't worth the price.

Don't get an expensive cube. Get something that is 10 dollars or less.

Once you get bored of your hypothetical Gans Air SM, and you want something better, you wont be able to. Trust me, you will get bored of a cubes feeling. It always happens.

Also, in the unlikely event that you get bored of cubing soon, you will have spent alot of money on a cube that you dont use. You get better value from getting a 10$ cube or less.

Also, the benefit of magnets at your skill level is virtually non existent. The majority of cube criticisms come from people turning high tps, so "bad cubes" wont actually be bad for slower cubers. Frankly, I'd recommend a shengshou aurora or some blocky/ old cube that has respectable but not great corner cutting, so you develop a more healthy and less aggressive turning style (thats just me tho). When you are faster, get a better cube. The feeling of upgrading your cube is amazing, so gradually upgrade to extend that satisfaction over time.

Keep in mind that literally anything is better that rubiks brand, so you cant go wrong with any cube, so get either a budget cube or an older cube.
