Hey guys I'm returning after a fairly long hiatus, and I want to get a top tier speedcube. It seems to be that magnets are a thing now, so I was looking to get either the GTS2, Gans Air, or Valk 3. I don't know which one I would prefer. My favorite cubes in the past have been the Guhong V2 and the Fangshi Shuangren. I also had a Weilong and Zhanchi, but I preferred the former two cubes over them. I liked the creamy smooth feeling of the Guhong the most. However, I did enjoy the extremely fast aspects of the Weilong and Zhanchi, so it's not like I didn't like them because they were uncontrollable. I hope you guys can give me a recommendation out of those three based on my opinions on previous cubes haha.

I would recommend a Gan 356 Air because th GES nuts make the cube so customizable. You haven't tried a cube that is modern or even a cube that is older than modern, so the Gan Air will help you customize it. Personally, though, I would buy an MF3RS, go to a big comp, and try the 3 cubes you have on your mind. You should then buy your favorite one.

Most square 1's besides the QiYi and Volt are not very good, though the Guanlong is probably the best square 1 that isn't a volt or QiYi.

I would get the Gans Air UM because it is very light despite the magnets and the magnets make the cube more controllable which solves the problem or uncontrollability of the 356 Air. Obviously, the Air is WAY more expensive, however, trust me, this will become your main instantly. The UM comes with all GES nuts so you can play around with tensions.

There isn't really if you don't have a budget limit.

If you want cost/quality ratio probably the thunderclap v1 or MF3RS (though personally I don't really like the MF3RS)

I want to give 2x2 a try. The last time I bought a 2x2 was three or four years ago. (I think I got a Dayan Zhanchi 2x2.) What's the best 2x2 cube these days?

Very loaded question. I have no financial limit on what I can spend on a cube. I have a Gans Air UM and I prefer a GTS2m which is half the price. Everyone's style is diffirent so everyone will have a different choice in a main. But the top 3 are GTS2m, Valk 3 or Gans Air UM

I tried Drew Brads' GTS2M at a competition, and that was really great. But if you're talking about a model of cube, than the Gan air takes the cake.
