So I want to get back into 3x3 again, and I need a new cube. I think that I'm going to get an AV and an FII, as those seem to be the most popular. I just wanted to know, where is the best place to buy them, for reliability and price? My brother and I have had problems with sites not sending us things we bought (cube4you and dealextreme), so I want somewhere that will send it for sure. Also, are these the type of stickers that would fit the FII: http://cubesmith.com/3x3x3SmallSize.htm

The stickers will fit F-ii, yes.
http://www.cubingstore.com/ is a good and reliable store, with relatively cheap prices.
http://www.lightake.com/ has good shipping (1 week for me, usually 2 weeks), has great customer service, and has the cheapest prices ever.

If you have the money, I really recommend getting A-5 F-II and DaYan GuHong. F-II is creamy, A-5 is crispy, and GuHong is both... :D

so im between the GuHong, The Ghost Hand 2, The A-V, and the F-II. Which one is best for what?
GuHong is really fast, and is pretty smooth but feels a little bit crispy (hard to explain). It is kind of out of control in my opinion.

Ghost Hand 2 is really fast, very smooth, but it locks up a lot. It's more for light/slow turners.

Alpha V is fast, very crispy, and hardly locks up. You can get a HaiYan Memory which is a modded A-V, but it costs a lot more. You could just do the mod yourself. But, an unmodded A-V is good too.

F-II is extremely smooth, it has a liquidy feel, kind of. It does lock up a little bit, at least mine does, but if you can control it then it's a good cube.

Im gonna have to go against most of these reviews.

Dayan guhong feels sturdy. I think thats the word you were looking for :P
It cuts corners the best of all the cubes you listed and same with reverse corner cutting. Also rarely locks.

Can't really review gh2

AV, like he said haiyan mod it and it will be very good. crispy and loose at the same time with minimal popping.

FII,i wouldn't say it feels liquidy, but more bubbly and smoooth. Put some lubix in it and it turns like a dream. Cant cut corners as well as the guhong or av though.

I'm thinking about getting a V-Cube 6, but how good are they? I know there is a 6b version that's pillowed, how much better is it? They don't have those on Amazon and i save a lot with free shipping buying it there, but i'm wondering if the 6b is considerably better or not.

I am searching for a new cube to buy

Preferences:
-I really like the feel of how a JSK turns, smooth and quiet. But it seems to lock up a bit too much for me.
-Some corner cutting would be nice, Maybe 20+ degrees.

I have tried the AV and Memory cubes, but do not like how they feel. They seem unstable and tend to lock up on me a lot.

I was thinking the F-II would suffice, because I hear it's smooth and quiet.
Any help would be great!

Yeah, F-II is pretty good.

One cube that feels like a JSK but a bit better (i.e. less lock-ups) is the C-III from Cameron's shop. I have one and it's pretty good, one of my favorites.

Thanks, I'll probably order both of them and compare.

*C ver. 1.5, not CIII*

sorry, just had to do it :p

On-topic:
If you really like the feel of the JSK (NOT JSK-clone), but want a cube that locks up less than that, you could try the Maru 3x3. It's smooth and crispy like the JSK, but made some improvement on the edge pieces to reduce lock-ups caused by pieces catching on the hollow part of the edge pieces.

The maru will have to be my next order. just bough the F-II and C 1.5. Is the C 1.5 similar to the maru 3x3 at all?

Yeah, I know it isn't really the C-III but it's called that on the shop and I didn't want to confuse myself :p
