Recall, not too long ago the Gans 357 was cheap and flimsy. Today, out-of-stock and in demand. Your name pseudonym says it all. FADs.

haha. actually english isnt my mother tongue. fad is my first 3 letters from my name. so is zhanchi is really quite? i never had one before. and does sulong included as a quite cube too? because i dont think its quite for my ears

Looking to get a new cube for OH, I've been using a guhong for the longest time, but its kind of broken and isn't amazing. For reference I average about 25 seconds for OH, and I'm looking for something that will really be smooth fast and light feeling, and I also want to try out a smaller cube for OH as I've only ever used full sized cubes and I like the idea of a slightly smaller cube for OH. The three cubes I'm looking at are the 55mm Zhanchi, the 54.5mm Weilong, or the 54.5mm Aolong. I've never used any of the full sized versions of these cubes either, so its tough to make the decision. I think I'm leaning toward the Weilong over the Zhanchi, but the Aolong is the wildcard that I don't know much about. Advice or comments on these cubes appreciated, especially if you have experience with them for OH

Guanlongs are lighter and slightly smaller - another option...

My hands are 16 cm from the wrist. Besides, 55mm Zhanchi is better than 57mm. Are my hands small?

My hands are somewhat big and I measured more than 20cm from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger. I'm tall (1,87m) but, e.g. my son's hands are not much smaller than mine, I'd say perhaps 18cm, and he's just 1,65m now (and growing :)).

So I'd say yes, your hands are probably a bit small. Not sure if that qualifies you for a 55mm Zanchi, though. What I can say is that I have a mini Weilong (54.5mm) and it is definitely too small for me.

I'm 1.70m and yeah, still growing. But I'm Asian. Most Asians are under 5'9..

I would love to know from some speedcubers what you can recommend:

I need a stickered cube, ideally that is as smooth as possible (perhaps a bit quieter and less clicky than the dayan zhanchi 3x3 that I have) that would be tournament-legal and that comes pre-lubed (because I'm a n00b and really bad at lubing my cubes as far as I can tell).

If you want the smoothest cube possible I would go with the Shengshou Aurora. They usually come lubed as well. I used that cube until I was sub 30 seconds as my main.

I think this got buried before anyone answered.

Not sure the Guanlong can fit your description. It is a good cube but it is cheap for a reason, the production process is not as polished as with other Moyu cubes, it does not have washers, the plastic has some imperfections from the molds that have not been properly cut off, etc. Not sure there is anything out there with the shape and feel of the Aolong.

Noob cuber using Layer by layer, best 28 seconds, average 46 seconds.
He wants a smooth cube, will a Weilong be good for this? (He found my Guhong v2 to be locky)

Got all 3 of them and for me the aolong v2 is by far the best. The downside is that mine needed longer time to break in that any other cube. But once it is broken in, it is amazing!
