There isnt anything smalled than 42mm . You can try shengshou ling long. but no cube is there smaller than 42mm that is for speedcubing

I don't even think there is a STANDARD size 4x4 that moves like a Dayan cube, except maybe an Aosu from what i have heard, but still. As far as 3x3, if 42 MM isn't small enough for you, then you probably shouldn't be taking cubes with you when you travel. The smallest cube i can think of would be a phone app, but it is not like apps are great for cubing.
ok, ok... Point well taken. I am content with the 42mm 3x3x3. Thoughts/recommendations on a 4x4x4 or 5x5x5?
There's also the FangShi ShiShuang. I like the 55mm version. It's my main along with my LingPo and I'm constantly switching between the two. The WitTwo is kind of outdated. It was my main for a long time but I switched to the LingPo because they feel similar but the LingPo is like a better version of the WitTwo.
But it is available on CubeZZ?Hmm, so it looks like it's down to the Zhanchi and the LingPo. I've eliminated the ShiShuang because it's not avaliable at CubeZZ, though I'm sure it's a great cube. What are the pros and cons of the Dayan 2x2 and the Moyu 2x2.
He said that he traveled a lot and wanted a cube that was small and easy to carry.have you tried regular size cubes. It's hard to believe that the best size cube for you would be that small.
Whoops fail.Searched Fangshi instead of Funs Puzzle. So it's back in. I guess I'll reinstate the WitTwo into the race since CBC and cyoubx do use them as mains. Could someone give me a list of pros and cons of the Dayan Zhanchi 2x2, Moyu LingPo, WitTwo Type C, and the Fangshi ShiShuang? Thanks!

For 4x4 there aren't any good mini 4x4's. The best standard size one is the Moyu Aosu. For 5x5, i am pretty sure that mini 5x5's don't exist, but the best currently is the ShengShou 5x5. You could wait for Moyu's release of there 5x5 in May if you wanted to however.ok, ok... Point well taken. I am content with the 42mm 3x3x3. Thoughts/recommendations on a 4x4x4 or 5x5x5?
Hi,
I was wondering what cube you would suggest to me. I'm not looking for anything super fancy, but I find basic Rubik's cubes are garbage. They don't corner cut (at all!), and the stickers gets damaged in no time.
I would look for a cheap, 3x3 sticker-less, and corner cutting cube. Doesn't have to be the fastest cube in the world, doesn't have to corner cut passed 45 degrees. As a matter of fact, I'm not a good cuber myself, I can solve a 3x3 in a matter of 2-3 minutes I think, so I'm not looking for a cube that will help me beat any records. I just don't want to fight the cube when it's not 100% squared like I have to do with a Rubik's, and I don't want stickers peeling off on me, and I don't have much money to spend on that.
so:
-cheap
-3x3
-no stickers
-at least a bit of corner cutting, lets say at least 20-25 degrees, if more its even better but I don't want the price to go up for that extra corner cutting.
Thank you
If you're willing to spend $9 and you want a fast cube, a YJ Yulong might work for you. However, from reviews I've seen, it might be too fast when lubed, so you should either wipe of all of the factory lube (if any) or just overlube it. If you're looking to save as much money as you can, go for what DoctorPepper recommended.Hi,

I would recommend a stickerless Zhanchi. It is a little bit more pricey than the cubes that are above mentioned (13.00 at the cubicle, but free shipping) it is what i started with (other than Rubik's) and my times went down really quickly. The colors look pretty good, and the corner cutting can be 45 if you tension right. It is very fast, but also controllable. A perfect cube for beginners!Hi,

My situation is pretty similar to ILikeCubes', but there's some differences in my criteria.
I'm looking for a proper 2x2 and 3x3 that isn't stickerless. Like ILikeCubes, I can solve an official 3x3 Rubik's Cube in just under 3 minutes, even though I'm familiar with the algorithms for solving each layer. I do believe I'd be well able to halve that time (or better) if I had a cube that didn't lock up every single move. As for the 2x2, my fastest solve is 12 seconds with an average of about 20 seconds using the Ortega Method. I find the 2x2 quite fun, but the 2x2 Rubik's Cube is incapable of corner cutting, and it also locks up pretty often.
I've been looking at The Cubicle and videos of the cubes which they sell. For the 2x2, I've been considering the 2x2 Pro Pair, which consists of the Type C WitTwo V1 and the Dayan 2x2. I'm pretty sure that I'll be getting a transparent stickerless YJ YuLong regardless, but I'm unsure about the stickered cube that I'll get. Of course the Dayan ZhanChi gets its fair share of recommendations, but I was looking at the MoYu WeiLong also. Both of these cubes have been described as cubes that are too uncontrollable for beginners to speed-cubing though.
How much the cubes cost isn't really a concern. How do the two 2x2's sound? As for the 3x3, what is the best cube for someone like me, regardless of price? I'll be getting some lube also, so any recommendations in relation to that would also help. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the quick reply. Since I might only be ordering cubes once (shipping and import charges are a killer), I'd like to get cubes that I can use at both intermediate and professional level. I checked out your YouTube channel and your review of the LingPo (great channel by the way), and from watching it, it seems like it locks up a lot. Is that just the way it looks, or is it actually a really smooth cube? The ShiShuang doesn't seem much faster than the Rubik's 2x2 either, so I think I'd need a faster cube. For 2x2: LingPo is my choice of cube but it may be a bit fast for you. Fangshi ShiShuang is little slower than that so that might fight your current times
For 3x3: Weilong is too fast for you now. I would suggest the YJ Sulong or Shengshou Aurora. They are good cubes that fit your current times. Then when you get faster, get the YJ Yulong or YJ Chilong and then when you are around 15 seconds. Get the Weilong or the Shuangren. Both are great speedcubes. People like Zhanchi but CBC and other say Fangshi is better than Dayan.
For Lube: Get the 50K Traxxas Differential Oil. People also use assorted silicone lube from cubicle.us but I havent tried it. You can give it a try also.
I hope it helped!
