What Cube? Where From?

Hey guys, I live in the UK and I was wondering if anyone knew a good site to order cubes from within the UK? I don't really want to buy one from the US because of shipping fees and crap like that, and I was also wondering if any of you knew of a particularly good cube that I should get. I wouldn't really class myself as a beginner, I've been cubing for about 5 months and average around 45 seconds so I really want a cube that can help me get my times down. I was thinking about the Guhong, they look pretty decent but wanted to get a few opinions.

Guhong would be a good choice. I don't know about UK shops, but if you're worried about shipping costs, Lightake has free shipping and cheap prices. You'll hear different stories whether they have fast or slow shipping. I've ordered with them 4 times; 2 times were fast, other 2 were not. But I'd definitely buy from them again.

Right, I'll have a look now, I'm not sure about additional costs once it has reached the border, I know that sometimes they add the tax on or some kind of additional cost. I actually wished I lived in USA they seem to be more into cubing out there... but thanks again.

There isn't one. It's based on personal preference. I personally like the Dayan GuHong w/Lubix. Search the forum, and the cube review threads/wiki if you need to.

just buy a few cubes that have been recommended by other cubers and try them out. Just see which one you prefer and once you've got used to it apply some lubix and see how it feels then.

i have an MF8, and its nice
it was total crap until put CRC in it, but now its relatively good
if you're gonna get one, make sure its the 2nd gen/version, the first one sucked

What do most people recommend as good 2x2s 4x4s and Pyraminxs? As for 2x2 I'm thinking LanLan, 4x4 Mini Gj, but Pyraminx I have no idea. Thanks!

qj pyramix is gotten the most, so i'd say that
2x2 either lan lan or ghost hand.
4x4 i'd wait for the xcube to come out (shall be coming out in ~ a month? maybe less)
if you don't want to wait, then either get teh daiyan (which pops alot) or the maru

This is offtopic, but I got d-39 lube in today, sprayed some inside my haiyan cube (took out an edge/2corners) and it literally feels brand new after seconds. Absolutely insane.
