@ Kooixh A2 cause A1 Pops alot more
And Can ANY1 please help me on my dilemma!
I posted it earlier but seems like no one answered so here it is...
I still don't get what it means by crispy in all these chats about cubes but being crispy is it the sound or the feel and is the smoothness of the F ii comparable to the Lan Lan.
If the crispy-ness mentioned is just the feel when the cubies run past each other/slide I would buy the A V then.
However would you mind explaining/telling me if AV's speed is slower than F ii (In your opinion). And I'm looking for a cube that's not tooo smooth either.(Overshooting problems-heard the F II does when NIB)

@Denhil what is your turning style ?
I heard that A5 is for people that turns quickly *with pauses* and FII is more for people that just turn a suitable speed for lookahead *non stop* not sure about C4Y though.
If you are not sure about what your turning style is maybe you can upload a video for us to see.

@no1337cube: Thanks a lot for your help. May be i'll choose C4U. A5 is quite expensive any F2 pops too much

I'm looking for a cube that's resistant to lockups and feels like it has a bit of weight to it. I'm not so worried about pops as I am about lockups. I have an F-II right now and it just feels too insubstantial. I want to feel like I'm moving more than air when I turn the cube.

I don't really want an A-V either because I've heard it's really, really loud. I've been looking into the C4Y DIY and it looks like basically what I'm looking for, but if anyone can give me their experience with DIY's or recommend something else I haven't looked into yet, please let me know.

Edit: I know this is a bit blasphemous, but I honestly really like the feel of my well-broken in storebought, it's just cheaply made so it can't cut corners and locks a lot. The FEEL of it is good, though. Would a Rubik's DIY have a similar feel, just lock less depending on tension?

the C4U DIY is a nightmare of locks if you're not good at fine-tuning.
It seems that you are not really looking for a high-end cube like the AV, FII, or AII whatsoever. If you like the feel of the storebought, a worn-out Type C would be the cube for you. But it'll take a while for it to feel like that, and i doubt you'd like the feel in the beginning. I think the A1 DIY would be a better choice, because it's pretty smooth from the beginning. It also have the weight you are looking for, and doesn't lock very much if adjusted properly.

EDIT:
actually, i think the new GAIM cubeforyou cube is a perfect fit for you:

Lol, I don't know any site that sells people. That would be bad D:

anyway, It'd be better to list the cubes that you have already. I don't think this goes into the Cube Choice thread, though. Try the Help and Questions section of the forums.
