My brothers popped my 3x3 and threw it away, so I need a new one. I average around 24-22 seconds. I'm currently using a Guhong, but it is just WAY to locky for me. I have a rather rough and fast turning style, so I would particularly want a cube that flexes, and will be controllable for me. I have no idea what cube I should get, and I would like it to be $20 or under.

tl;dr I'm a 23 second average, and I have a rough turning style, so I'm looking for a cube that can flex or cut through lock-ups, while still being controllable. I have a $20 budget.

I prefer smooth cubes.

Which is better? An Aolong GT or a Tanglong?

Just wanted to know which of the two was better :D

What is the best pyraminx that is good for beginners to advanced (QiYi or Moyu) -> i haven't solved a pyraminx yet and want a smooth and stable, not locking up pyraminx.
Best 3x3 that is very good and won't need a replacement for long (For example Aolong V2, GuoGuan Yuexiao) -> i average 35 secs and want a smooth, not too lood cube that is stable, doesn't lock up (and maybe has a mini version).

I only have the Qiyi Pyraminx, not the Moyu and I highly recommend it, even for a beginner (which I also am in Pyra). I also have a Shengshou and the new Cyclone Boys and I prefer the Qiyi hands down but, judging from what I heard, the Moyu would be also a good option.

Regarding 3x3 that's smooth, not too loud, stable and does not lock up (sorry but it does not have a mini version) I'd say Moyu Tanglong. it really excels at smooth, stable and not loud. If you want a similar cube in mini size I'd recommend the Mini Weilong.

I have neither of the 2 pyraminxes, but I tried both of them out at a competition. I personally prefer the MoYu Pyraminx, but it really doesn't matter what pyraminx you have. I am now on the 23rd place in the Pyraminx Rankings (single) of the Netherlands with a MEFFERT'S PYRAMINX, which is really bad. I have tried out the GuoGuan Yuexiao and the AoLong V2 (which I own). I prefer the GuoGuan YueXiao, but it doesn't have a mini version. A fast mini cube would be the mini WeiLong.

Can someone give a compare and contrast between the Thunderclap and Shengshou Aurora? I'm debating between those 2 for my first speedcube.
