This isn't all a problem with the cue for the most part. Just sort out your turning style and you should be fine with pretty much any cube. If you feel like you really need to, just get a smaller cube.
Hi guys! I'm looking for a speedcube that's best for me. I prefer quiet ( or not very loud) cubes. I like smooth, buttery, fast cubes with good corner cutting. I don't like cubes which pop a lot. I actually prefer cubes that are not VERY costly but, you can mention about the cube even if it is costly but right for me. I'm a 35 - 40 second solver ( sometimes even more). I use the CFOP (Fridrich) method for solving. What's the best all- rounder cube for me? What's the best cube in your opinion?....
Based on your description, I think the Thunderclap is the best one. At only $9, it's smooth and fast and fit for all turning styles. Feeling can be altered to be scratchy and fast or smooth, buttery and fast. The downside is that as its name suggests, it's exceptionally loud and clacky. Otherwise, it fits your description perfectly.

I am thinking of getting a better cube, as mine is currently a Rubik's brand cube. The cornercutting is horrible, it locks up a lot, and the tension is too tight and cannot be adjusted. I'm looking for a 3x3 cube that will be good for someone just learning to speedcube. I can solve a cube in around 2 minutes using beginners method, but am looking to learn finger tricks, F2L, OLL, and PLL. I don't know what cube to get, any suggestions?

I'd get a stable cube to begin with. A great cube would be Moyu Tanglong. If you want something cheaper but still very good maybe a YJ Chilong or Sulong. Aolong v2 or Thunderclap can also be a good option.

Despite what other people have told you, I would get something like a zhanchi. At my last comp, I was watching some of the newer cubers, and their turning was ridiculously rough. I think this is a result of them starting out with the best speedcubes. Trust me, a zhanchi will be better for you in the long run.
I just got my thunderclap. It isn't smooth nor buttery. It's scratchy and really fast, a little unstable, but this probably due to my tensions. It does not fit my turning style but i accept this is a good cube. But if you want a smooth buttery cube, the thunderclap will definitely not meet your expectations.
I'd go with the tanglong or the gans 356, both are very smooth and buttery. The gans 356 is expensive, though, I think the best option is the tanglong.
