Huachuang vs stickerless

Is there a substantial difference between the regular huachuang and the stickerless?

No, there shouldn't be, Unlike what some youtubers have said there is no difference between sticker less and black/white plastic cubes except the color.
Thanks, do u have any firsthand experience? I saw YouTube videos of both and stickerless looked much slower.

No I only have a black one but It's the same plastic, It just gets dyed a different color. If any difference is caused by the dye it would be so minimal that it wouldn't really mater.
They are more than likely going to be affected more by how they are set up.

Can anyone confirm? 40$ is a lot to waste if this turns out untrue lol

Gans 357/356 ??

It's pretty hit or miss tbh some people love them others despise them. If you have some spare that you want to spend on cubes it's a pretty worthwhile investment overall, especially if you end up liking it. They say that the feeling of the cubes is almost unparalleled. I personally use the 357 although I like the 356 as well.

If you want individual comparison, 357 seems to be sturdier but the 356 corner cuts better.

I have several Dayan Zhanchi 3x3 from like 2 years ago, two stickerless and one stickered (blue base) and the plastic and the cubes feel very different. But this was some years ago and another manufacturer. Right now I can't tell but if Feliks can use a stickerless Yuxin 5x5 to break WRs then you should not be worried... In fact, I'd get the stickerless Yuxin 5x5 instead of the Huachuang. It is better and cheaper and has been WR-tested in its stickerless version. I don't know of any fast cuber that has used the stickerless Huachuang, so maybe it is not exactly the same as the stickered one. But, really, get the Yuxin :) (of course, do what you want, just my opinion here!)

I want to try new cubes, so the last one i bought was the moyu weilong when it was the new great cube. So... What cubes are conciderd the best right now? (not for begginers).

What's the consensus on the yuxin 3x3?

There is no consensus on the YuXin other than it being a good value. I think it's a good all-round cube. Nothing in particular stands out. Corner cutting is average and speed is moderate. It does work well at tight tensions and it's very controllable which is why it's my current main. At least it's a low risk cube to try out at that price.

Theres really no point in getting a huachuang if u can get a yuxin for like half the price.
I have a Yuxin and it isn't working right for me.i want to get the fastest possible 5x5, recommendations?

I have a stickerless Yuxin and it might just be mine but it's terrible. Really stiff and slow, with lots of popping issues. I want to get a really fast cube now.

Cyclone Boys 5x5 is very fast ootb and it gets faster with tensioning it and lubing. One thing I did to mine which I like is I put weisu soft springs in it, and the overal feel improve IMO.

Thanks but I don't have a weisu to spare. Really just want a really fast cube out of the box. Recommendations?

The outer layers of the CB are super fast, faster than their 4x4, almost as fast as my zhanchi, and I didn't lube my 5x5. And they are very smoth too. The inner layers are a bit slower, you can feel the grinding, but it doesn't bother me at all. Maybe some lube could fix the inner layers, but I am not a serious speedsolver, to me it's fine without lube.
