Hi, I am looking to buy a new 3x3 cube. Right now I have the Gans 356 in which I sorta like in the way it is fast and smooth, but it is way to unstable for my liking. I average around 15 seconds and I've heard that the Tanglong is just a more stable version of the Gans 356, but I've also heard it's slower. So my question is what type of cube feels like the Gans 356, is more stable, and still maintains the same speed?

I added weights to my 356 and it solved that issue for me

So, I'm looking for a 2x2.
I never got into 2x2 before, but I use the Tanglong on 3x3.
I did a quick research and found that the main competitors are the Dayan and Moyu Lingpo.
Which one should I buy?

Thanks.

Gans 356 with new center caps vs tanglong vs yuxin with soft springs, hualong which one?

I have 3 out of the 4.
[Caveat: I like fast and loose cubes, so my preference is largely influenced by this]

Gans 356 - great with corner cutting and pop proofed. But I find it a bit 'draggy' and experience a bit catching if I set it too loose. Great for those who likes slower (still fast for some), and tighter cubes

Hualong - the corner cutting is fantastic and I don't have any lock ups with it. Fast cube but will pop if you are too aggressive or set it a bit loose.

Yuxin - draggy and tight without CX3 springs. Nice with soft springs but I find the reverse corner cutting is affected. To circumvent this, I need to really set loose tension, which makes the cube really fast. May be uncontrollable for some at this tension. I just ordered another one (white) :D

Each of these have different turning feel with the gans (on tighter tension) having the most delightful feel. I like the hualong because of its superb corner cutting and the absence of any catches. I am alternating these 3 but hualong and yuxin gets my vote.

I personally disagree with the Gans evaluation. Mine rarely ever catches even with the tension I put on it which is ridiculously loose.

dayan is better, but you will have to spend a little bit of time finding the right tensions and lubing it so that it doesnt pop and is fast.

lingpo is ok, doesnt pop ever, but its a little locky and the layers are uneven because of the weird ball core.

lingpo is probably a better choice if you dont think you will be getting into 2x2, but get the dayan if you think you want to be fast.

edit: dont get the lingpo. get the yupo or the dayan.

Why yupo?
and also, I don't really plan on lubing or tensioning.

Ok, I have a small update.
I'm looking for a 2x2, Skewb and Pyraminx.
Right now I'm only doing 3x3 and I use the Tanglong as my main.
These are the things I think about buying:
2x2 - Moyu LingPo
Skewb - Moyu Skewb
Pyraminx - Moyu Pyraminx

So, what 2x2, Pyraminx and Skewb should I buy?

P.S. I prefer something that works good out of the box, because I'm not great at lubing or setting up tensions.
