Modded SS if you really want to get good
Dayan if you want to get decent but can't be bothered to mod
YuHu if you don't give a **** about mega

haha ok. Ill prolly go for the yuhu then. But if i decide to get decent as in not world class but pretty good. (sub 1-30) Then is the yuhu ok or should i get a dayan or modded SS

Dayan IMO. By the time you get there, it'd probably be broken in enough. A Dayan is better than an unmodded SS.

Looking to get some cubes for MBLD. Price is not too much of an issue, i.e. I'm not limiting myself to a guanlong. My current BLD main is a HuaLong, I have a mini AoLong which is not cool because of corner twisting. I hate the feel of the WeiLong. I like my BLD cubes to have a crunchy feel, which makes it easy for me to tell where my turns are at. Heard some good things about the Qiyi Thunderclap, so might even go with those. Any recommendations? Should I get all the same type or experiment with a few different ones while I'm at it?

I really like the Yueying for BLD. Very responsive and stable. I would get a few different if I were you.

What about the Yuxin? I personally just use my main (Gans 356) for BLD though.

Hi, I have a bit of extra money to spend so I just consider buying another 3x3 to either try something out, or even get a new main, who knows.
So far I use a Mini WeiLong for OH (and like it for 2H as well) and a HuaLong otherwise. Although the feeling is entirely different, I like both of them although I often prefer the HuaLong over the WeiLong due to the superior speed. So, any recommendations for a 3x3? How is the TangLong?

Also, if I want to get a preferably cheap 3x3 for some experimental solves under conditions that might damage it (therefore the rather cheap price as it should be ok to break or lose it) that is still decent, which cube would it be?

YJ SuLong. It's a decent cube that's very inexpensive with a simple, tough mechanism that will take a lot of abuse.

Hi, I have asked before here and in the Megaminx specific thread about this but do you really think that the SS can get so good after modding? Because my YJ Yuhu is so-so. It does not have a whole lot of solves yet but it took a lot of tinkering with the tensions to get all faces to turn more or less the same (not perfect but decent), and the grip with the grooves in the pieces is quite good but the instability of the faces drives me nuts. It misaligns very easily when you try to just hold it and in the end I lock up all the time.

I'm not a bit Mega solver so I did not want to spent like $19 in a Dayan but the SS is quite cheap and I wouldn't mind to spend the time modding it if I find a good tutorial. So, I would be willing to buy a SS if it's going to be more stable than my Yuhu. I wanted to try a stickerles one because I hate the small stickers and it must be a pain to replace them, but I'm afraid there is no stickerles SS.

Moyu Tanglong

Is the TangLong more similar to the Meiying or the AoLong? I've got the Meiying as my main and I'm wondering if the TangLong is worth it.
