Coming back to cubing after a year. I use a C4U Diansheng DIY as my 3x3, Eastsheen 4x4 and 5x5, and V-Cube 6x6 and 7x7. I was thinking of upgrading.

I'm looking for something that can cut corners better than my DIY for a 3x3 and is lighter. I was thinking about the Weilong and the Guhong II, but if there's anything better that'd be nice as well.
For the 4x4 and the 5x5, it's pretty much the same thing, but I would like a cube that has bigger cubies than the Eastsheen 5x5; I turn pretty roughly.

Zhanch is better than Guhong, but I would recommend the Moyu Aolong V1 if you are ok with White cubes. If you want black, then buy the Aolong V2.
For 4x4, if you are willing to spend 25$ get a Moyu Aosu 4x4 and around 35$ then a Moyu Aochuang 5x5. If you can't spend that much, then get a Shengshou 4x4 and 5x5 and then just mod them.

Is there a diference with colored Weilong V1s. Im thinking of buying the clear colored weilong V1 and i was wondering if its as good as the original because i dont own one

Do you mean this sort of thing? http://lightake.com/p/Mo-Yu-Wei-Lon...n-3x3x3-Magic-Cube-56mm-Puzzle-Toy_m1167.html

I have a clear cube. It is hard to distinguish the colours. Especially the "white" because it is colourless so you see through it to the colour on the other side. They are nice to have in a collection but don't bother trying to get a decent time with them.

Mine is a Yulong not a Weilong but I'm sure the problem would be the same.

I'm looking for a slightly smaller cube, like 53mm - 55mm range for OH.
I have a Weilong v1 that I like a lot, so the natural choice would be a 54.5mm Weilong, but I've heard of corners breaking, and I'd also like to see what else is out there these days. I've also owned/tried a Guhong (pretty good), and a Zhanchi (I disliked it, but could never figure out why). What would you guys recommend?

Nope not that, the stickered transparent body one.

For 2x2, how does the LingPo compare to the Zhanchi?

Also, I'm considering getting another 3x3x3 to add to my Zhanchi and AoLong (plus Aurora which I gave to my brothers), I'm thinking of getting either a DianMa or a Weilong. My favourite 3x3x3 at the moment is the Zhanchi, and I'm averaging just slower than 25 seconds. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks.

Well I'm thinking of getting a mini cube for OH. I would assume that the mini aolong would be the first pick but I'm think of trying something else (my main is the aolong v1). Any suggestions would be helpful.

The ZanChi 2x2 is really tough to beat. It's super smooth and tight and never catches or locks up. The LingPo isn't quite as smooth and is a little less forgiving than the ZanChi. The only advantage it may have is that it feels a tad lighter and snappier.

The DianMa is interesting because of the narrow center pieces. It results in good corning cutting but it makes slices more tricky. It's also a slow cube. It has the most drag of any speedcube that I've tried. The WeiLong is a better cube, IMO. I recommend it if you like a fast, heavy cube with good corner cutting.

I'm looking for a large 3x3. I have a Zhanchi and a ShengRen V2 (Which i really love) but my big hands get in the way. I heard the Maru CX3 is bigger, but it does not seem to be all that much more bigger or even as good as a cube as some others. Any other cubes out there worth looking at that are bigger?

Hey guys, I just brought my first 4x4 and it's a stickerless Aosu, and...it's really ugly.

I thought I'd like it because stickerless rocks but I'm very distracted by the colors when I try to solve. Could you guys people post pictures of your black or white Aosu's? I'm leaning toward white, and when I get my new one I'm giving the stickerless to a buddy.
