Hi everyone. I am a 15 second solver and I am currently using the Moyu Aolong v1. I use roux as my main method, and I find the aolong flexes a lot and feels unstable. What cube do you guys recommend?

Thank you. This was one of the cubes I was considering. How does this compare to the guhong v2? I have heard that they perform very similarly, but the guhong is smooth and the zhanchi is crunchy. Also, are there any other stable, square-feeling, and good-performing cubes?

square-feeling: HuanYing, LiYing, ChiLong, Weilong.
I don't have the LiYing but it is the v2 of the HuanYing. The HuanYing is very, very squarey, perhaps even a bit too "stiff" but for your speed I'd say perhaps the Weilong is the better choice (I think you said your average was around 15 secs, right?).

What does 'square' feel like? Genuine question. Also... The huanying is stiff?

square feels like its stable, not rounded off too much or bubbly, and cubic i guess. For example the aolong and fangshi are bubbly while dayan cubes and older moyus are square.

hehehe, I knew that one was coming.

square feel: the feeling that during the solve the cube stays square and does not deform significantly. Of course it also depends on the tensions but, for me AoLong is a bit bubbly and deforms a bit too much, while HuanYing stays very square. I said stiff but it was the wrong word. I was trying to convey the meaning that it stays a bit too square, even, not that it does not turn properly / fast. Sorry about that.

Ya 15 second average. I've heard/seen weilongs and people say that the center caps fly off every solve. Is this that much of a problem?

I have never had that problem but I haven't used it extensively as it is a bit fast for my very inaccurate turning for now. I've had that problem with Zanchis, though.

By the way, would some of you be as kind so as to go to the solve critique thread, check my Ao5 and give advice? :) I surely need it and, with your help, perhaps in some months I will be able to change the ChiLong for my Weilong and start suffering the center cap problem myself, hehehe.
