Do you think its better to buy the tanglong from ebay or from speedcubeshop?
because I found it in ebay for less.
By the way, how much time does it take for speedcubeshop to deliver international shipping?

I prefer to purchase from the speedcubing stores like SpeedCubeShop that actually support the community rather than eBay.

Two centers of my guhong v2 keep unscrewing, messing up my tensions. What should I do? Should I buy a new cube?

Does anyone know how is zcube.hk as a shop? Is it reliable?

Zcube is very reliable. They shipped out a package I had ordered like a few hours ago. The time that they take to ship out orders varies a bit. I think I ordered it on Wednesday, and shipped on Sunday. However, my past orders were even quicker. The products a packaged very nicely, in cardboard boxes with padding to make sure nothing rattles around. They offer a variety of shipping options, some of which are very expensive. I don't know here you live, but I would recommend epacket if you live in Canada like me. Their shipping options are all very expensive, even China Post and Hong Kong Post. Epacket is more than China Post and typically less than Hong Kong Post, but much faster. I also like how they have a button to convert currencies. Aside from the pricey shipping and occasionally the lack of colour options, they are a great store. This post and the question should be in another thread though.

Guhongs are outdated, so get one if you want. The problem you have seems to be with a stripped core. Many cube stores sell replacement cores, so if you want to stick to a guhong then this might be a possible fix. If you live in an obscure area where shipping is expensive and buying a new core would be almost as much as a new cube, then you might as well buy a new cube and a new core at the same time to save on shipping.

What cube do you think I should get? I average about 40 seconds

So ive done some research and apparently there's ultimate edition fot gans 357. Which one should i buy? The ultimate edition or the normal one? Apparently the ultimate edition was crafted (no minecraft reference here) with hand, so it is smoothet and less crappy. Is the extra $ worth it?

I personally would say no. It is better but I don't think it is $20 worth of effort better. If you are a collector or have the money to spend, go for it.

Does anyone know how the stickerless QiYi Thunderclap is? I'm thinking about buying it since i really like the stickered one, but want to try a stickerless. How are the shades? is it as controllable as the stickered one?

What cube is the fastest?

Hello speedsolving.com
I need help with finding out the fastest cube.
I don't care if it overshoots, I just prefer speed, so if anyone can help me, it would be appreciated :)

Thunderclap or Tanglong?
I like stable and smooth cubes(I'm not a big fan of the feel of the meiying). The Gans 356 was almost perfect for me but it to unstable and My Aolong v2(imo it has the best feeling ever and has exceptional stability) is starting to get lockups after 15,000 solves so I am looking for a replacement cube.

I think both are great for what you're looking for. I you really want smooth I'd go for the Thunderclap but if you really loved the 356 people say the Tanglong is just a stable 356 or a mix between the 356 and the Aolong v2. So I'd probably get both :) well, I already have the QiYi and I'm thinking about getting a Tanglong for my collection :)

I got one about a month ago and its great. My times dropped by 0.1 the moment I picked it up. that may not seem significant, but 2.3 to 2.2 is a huge difference just from getting a good cube.

I keep trying to break in my Dayan 2x2 but it just pops and pops. I have also noticed (and maybe it's time for me to disassemble, lube and tension it) that corner cutting is very uneven. If I try to corner cut the corner that is completely free (not attached to the core) it corner cuts almost 45º. This corner also feels light. But if I try to corner cut the corner that is attached to the 3 axes of the core it barely cuts half of that, if I try to force it, it either cuts, locks or, pops, depending on the mood of the cube at that moment. I will try to set it up this weekend but I'm starting to fear I got a defective unit.

I have a Meiying and I really like it but I'm thinking of getting another cube because it's my only cube and I'd like to have some variety, my choices are either the Yuxin 3x3 or the Tanglong. Which is better and what do they feel like compared to the Meiying? I like to tension my cube loosely, if that helps. Also, is there a difference in performance between stickerless cubes vs. cubes with stickers?
