Aolong is a great cube, it won't be too slow. Don't know about hualong.

Seems like the Hualong gets mixed reviews. Some people say it's very stable, other people say it's terribly flimsy :/ What about the Gans 356?

Faz and a noob both could use a Gans 357/6. Turning style is what matters
Fast and rough = fast and stable cube
Those fast and stable mainstream cubes i could think of are: weilong, guhong, zhanchi, aolong, hualong, yuxin,

If you like the Aolong but think it's perhaps a bit too slow and the Hualong will be maybe a bit too fast I have the perfect choice for you. QiYi Thunderclap, it's been reviewed as an improvement over the Aolong in that particular aspect (being a bit faster) but it is still controllable and it is cheap. I'm gonna get one myself but I will wait until my Hualong comes in the mail (I hope it will come soon) and see if it is really as fast and unstable as many people say, if not maybe I'll stay with it.

Sorry. I have a fast TPS and I loved the gans357 (before I stupidly traded it) so I thought the yuxin would feel the same. Basically just any good cube that has fast turning
