I think I might try clock...but honestly I don't know anything about clocks or which one to get. The only one I've even seen is the LingAo. Are there others out there?

I remember answering this exact same question a few months ago so I hope you don't mind but I just copied and pasted my answer here. Hope it helps.
No, there is also a CubeTwist clock as well as the Rubik's brand clock but the CubeTwist and LingAo are virtually the same. If you are looking for a good clock though I might recommend looking for a Rubik's brand one. They aren't produced anymore so you won't find one in a cube store but there are usually plenty on ebay. The reason why I recommend getting a Rubik's Clock (if you want to speedsolve clock) is because the pins on the LingAo and CubeTwist clocks slip (and sometimes lock-up) pretty much every solve for me which can sometimes completely ruin the solve if I don't catch it. But if you're just getting one to try out clock then the LingAo or CubeTwist is fine.
What cube should I get, since I need a new one, and am averaging around low 20's-mid 20's? I was thinking the Aolong or the Weilong, but I am not sure.
Hello I am a fairly new speedcuber and I'm wondering what kind of cube i should get. I have started off with a rubiks brand then went to a yj yulong .I'm and currently getting a yj guanlong some stickers, lubix, and maru lube. I like scratchy kind of feeling puzzles and something that corner cuts great at a cheap price. Does anyone know what and where to get one of these? And also I would like to ask: what happens if you break a cube a cube in a BUNCH (my yulong) then lube it is there any difference to how it feels compared to if you lube a fresh cube? THX
Hey Cubers.
I've been cubing for about 2 weeks and my best solve time is 1:24. I currently use the beginners method to solve and I'm currently trying to learn CFOP. I'm using the Rubik's brand cube and I'm wondering what kind of cube I should get.
Don't get an Aolong or Weilong just yet. You could end up learning bad habits because of how forgiving the cubes are. Like I said, the formula cube is pretty good, especially because it isn't too high class or too low class. I average 10.3, and i can pretty easily sub 10 in the formula cube.
I know this probably is a hard request.. But I currently have an Aolong v2 and a YJ Yulong. I like the Aolongs feel the most, it is so smooth and still very stable but i just dont feel that it is fast enough. On the other hand I also really like the Yulong because of its speed(quite a bit faster than the aolong), but at the same time it just isn't stable enough for me. I lubed my Aolong with weight 1 but even that doesn't make it fast enough. Is there a cube out there that any of you may know off that is stable and still really fast. Maybe a mix feeling of the Aolong and the Yulong.
I got myself a Vcube3 for christmas and I immediately became hooked after finding badmephisto's tutorial on youtube and solving it for the first time. Now I can't get my hands off my cube. I learned the beginner method and I can solve it in about 2-3 minutes at the moment. I want to buy a few other (better) cubes. Looking around on youtube and on various websites I found out about the Moyu Aolong V2 and the Dayian Zhanchi that look to be very popular among speedcubers.
I'm located in Canada. Are there any websites that are faster to ship to my location? And how about my choices of speedcube? Do you guys have other suggestions? I don't really mind buying several puzzles, since this is a relatively cheap new hobby!

Welcome. Both of those cubes will work well. I like the Shengshou Aurora and is a great cube for someone at your level. It is still pretty stable and not super fast. When I started I got a Fangshi and it moved so well that I had trouble holding it steady. Plus it is pretty cheap compared to the rest.

Thanks for the suggestion. Like I said money is not an issue. I can buy as many cubes as I want and intend to buy a few. I will look into the Shengshou Aurora. Do you have a preferred website to order from?

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered.
I started cubing in 2007 and it was my main hobby up until a couple of years ago. I'm not the best, but I'm not the worst. I averaged ~25 seconds. So my question is, since I've been out of the loop, what would be a good 3x3x3 for me to get back into things and, perhaps, better my times?
