Yeah, you also have the option of shengshou, they are cheaper but not best. Best ones for EVERY choice would be the Moyus. If they're too expensive for you perhaps you can go with some SS but I would explicitly ask for advice on every one of them. I have read on this forum that some of them are particularly bad, not sure if the even-layered (4x4, 6x6) or odd-layered ones (5x5, 7x7).
I love the feel of my stickerless guhong v2, its super smooth, buttery and fast. Should I get a stickered one or will it feel different? People tell me the weilong v2 is pretty buttery too.
My experience is not extensive but I have a stickerless and a stickered Zhanchi, which are not the Guhong but also from Dayan, and they DO feel different. If you want a smooth and fast cube the Weilong v2 is a fairly good choice, anyway. Not sure about the "buttery" part but probably good enough. We should enter a discussion of what buttery means, for me, the 1st cube up there in the "buttery" ranking would be the SS Aurora.
Cubers with big hands/long fingers: do you feel more comfortable with the SS mini size or the regular 7x7 size? Also is the pink model hard to look at/see stickers on?
I'm kinda new to speedcubing and I'm currently using Rubik's brand cube. My average time solving is around 1 min and 10 seconds (below 60 if I get lucky).
I have watched a lot of reviews, but still can't decide which cube will fit me. 57mm FangShi ShuangRen II or stickerless YJ YuLong?
YJ YuLong - I heard it's a good cube to start speedcubing with. But I don't like crunchy feel too much. Stickerless cube will help me practice my recognition.
FangShi - From what I've seen on videos, It's a really smooth and fast cube with sandy / scratchy feel which I like a lot, but I think it will be too fast and uncontrollable for me since I got used to a stiff rubik's brand cube. Also I heard it's flimsy and has small, poor quality stickers which maybe could slow down my recognition (don't wanna spend extra money on buying mod stickers)
I wanna know what do u guys think, and maybe you could recommend me another cube which could fit me as a person who is new to speedcubing.
I have a Rubik's speed cube, averaging about 1 minute 20 (CFOP) after only 1 week of cubing. Looking to get some cubes for Christmas.
So far I've considered between the following:
-Weilong v2
-Aolong v2
-Dayan Zhanchi
-Fangshi Shuangren
Looking to get 2 cubes, 3 at the maximum, what do you guys recommend? Is getting the Weilong and the Aolong a bit conflicting? Is there any better cubes/combinations of cubes?
For the speed you are at i would get the Wailing V2 or Dayan Zhanchi, i think the Aolong is just to fast for you, and the Fangshi just isn't that good. But i wouldn't necessarily get two 3x3s if you already have the rubik's speed cube, but it is up to you.

Personally, I would just get the Aolong V2 - you'll adjust to its speed and you'll be fine. It'll be well broken in by the time you get to averaging 0 and that won't take too long with a decent amount of practice.
Then I would get a 4x4(moyu weisu) or 2x2(no idea which one is best atm.. Dayan?) and practice at that too. They're both fun and enjoyable to speedsolve in their own ways. Then just expand out from there

The color of the stickers in the Fangshi is not particularly good, at least I don't like it much. It is not the best speedcube out there either. So, if you are only going to buy one cube, don't plan on going to a comp, don't want to spend money in stickers... why don't you get a stickerless Weilong or Yulong? Don't be so sure you won't like the feeling if you haven't tried them out. I cannot think of any other cube with a feeling similar to the Fangshi.

I don't think Weilong and Aolong are conflicting at all. Both are fast but feel quite different. I don't particularly like the bubbly / rounded feeling of the Aolong but many people love it.

I don't really think that the Aolong is "faster" than the Weilong. In fact for me it's a bit the other way around. The Aolong feels heavier and needs a bit more effort to make it turn.

Hi, I just wanted to try out one of the older diy cubes which I will get from lightake.com
I just want to know which cube is the best out of these:
Type A 1st Gen DIY
Type A 2nd Gen DIY
Type C DIY
Or a Cube4you DIY I will get at cube4you.com
Note that I already have higher end speedcubes and I just want to try one of these cubes out, and also I will be lubing the cube with Jig a loo. So which one is the overall best lubed with jigaloo?
I have the regular 7x7 and it feels comfortable. Honestly it seemed small when I first got it and wished it was a tad bigger. I'm 5'10" but large hands. I don't have the mini so I cannot compare.
