I am a ZhanChi guy. I love the feel of the ZhanChi. I have tried a FangShi and didn't like its sandy feel. I am thinking of getting a Weilong (v1 or v2). Before, I order one, I need to know how it feels. I have a LingPo and I like its feel( despite lockups). Does the Weilong feel similar to LingPo/ZhanChi?

If you lube, tension, and work them in equally, I think the zhanchi and weilong feel similar. Obviously they aren't the same, that would be pointless. However, I think the weilong is similar to the Zhanchi. The Weilong is slightly smoother than the Zhanchi, and I find it much easier to perform algorithms with. I prefer it to my Zhanchi. It is also much faster than the Zhanchi, so if you cannot control it, I would recommend over-lubing it so that the cube slows down to your preference and is easier to control.

Bottom line:Yes, I think the Weilong has a somewhat similar feel to the Zhanchi if treated properly. It does not feel like the Fangshi, which you disliked. It is faster than the Zhanchi, and smoother. (This does not me "better")

Best Cube

What is the best cubes right now in the world for 2x2 3x3 4x4 5x5 6x6 7x7 pyraminx and megaminx. For 2x2 i think wittwo v2 or dayan. 3x3 dayan zhanchi. 4x4 moyu weisu. 5x5 shengshou. 6x6 shengshou. and 7x7 ss. What do you guys think?

There is no 'best' cube for some puzzles, but what is generally seen as the best:
2x2: Dayan (used to be WitTwo, but apparently the newer v1s aren't as good any more
3x3: WeiLong (I don't agree, and many people don't, but I think more people do)
4x4: WeiSu
5x5-7x7: ShengShou
Pyraminx: ShengShou
Megaminx: Idk much about Mega, but apparently Dayan and modded ShengShou are both very good.

Weilong v1 or v2?

I want a cube that feels the same as my super broken in weilong v1 that hknow store sent to the testers. IMO the newer v1 feels a little slower and feels weirder to me (I can't figure out why but it just feels different).

Supposedly, the v2, by feeling, is slightly crispier, and is more controllable at about the same overall speed.
Maybe having that bit of feedback from the crispiness would help? IDK.

Sorry for once again posting by what I hear, since I own none of these yet.

I would go v1 solely for the non tri piece corner. Weilong corners don't split open as badly.

What is the best cube ?

I was wondering this too. I have an (unmodded) SS V5, and don't have the time or patience to mod a 4x4. I did some research on YouTube, and the consensus seems to be that the Weisu is better than the Aosu! (I know, I was surprised too). Most Weisu owners seem to report that the cube requires some breaking in, then cleaning out the plastic dust, then will be just awesome.

So I bought a Weisu. They're currently in the Lightake sale, for around $10 US with free international postage. Less than half the price of the Aosu.

I'm sure once there are more reviews available for the Aosu there will be people that prefer it to the Weisu, but cubes always polarise opinions like this. Personally, the option of getting a cube that's so cheap and is better than my SS could be if I spent 4 hours modding it (and didn't mess up) is a no brainer.

I currently only solve big cubes (5+) but I have recently got back into 3x3. I own a v1 zhanchi that isn't bad, but I prefer cubes that are more clicky and crisp. What are some good 3x3s under $15? I played with the SS Aurora and it is the feel I like except it pops every once and a while...

**I think it was the SS Aurora at least...could have just been the generic SS 3x3 though...

Interesting. I haven't actually been able to figure out the v2's 3-piece corner design, but it looks a bit like a sturdier version of the type found in the Guhong v1 (three pieces with a central connector)

Come to think of it, that extra crispiness could possibly be caused by slightly more wiggle allowed on the corner base due to the design. Just a theory.

Also you might go for the v2 mini if you had smaller hands.

If you like crispy and clicky, I would recommend the CX3. It is one of my favorites for that exact reason. The Fanshi can also be a bit clicky, but it's much smoother than the CX3. anyway, Fangshi Shaungren V2 and/or Maru CX3 would be my recommendations.

Best

I have een wondering about the best speedcube to get. For 2x2 dayan, 3x3 wielong or haunying, 4x4 aousu, 5x5-7x7 ss. What do u guys think?

There is no such thing as a best cube for everyone. Especially when there are a lot of choices (3x3s for example).

Watch review.
Good alternatives:
2x2: Witwo V1, MoYu LingPo, Dayan, Cyclone Boys
3x3: FangShi Shuangren, Maru CX-3, Moyu WeiLong, Dayan Zhanchi&Guhong v2, Cyclone Boys, Gans III and the list goes on.
4x4: MoYu Aosu&Weisu, ShengShou v5
5x5: Shengshou
6x6: Shengshou
7x7: Shengshou Linglong (Aka mini 7x7)
