For anyone who have both of lingyun I and lingyun II

In your opinion, which is faster and better between lingyun I with torpedoes and lingyun II with torpedoes?

And also which is faster and better between both of them without torpedoes?

You can mention it's turning, which is smoother, pops, corner cutting, etc.

Any cuber can answer my question?

I think the V2 is the same cube, but with bigger holes in the edges for standard Dayan torpedos to fit.

i am looking for a good, decently priced (preferably cheapish), 6x6. i was kinda thinking of shengshou, cuz i liked their 7x7 and 8x8,but is there a better 6x6?

Just go with Shengshou. V-Cube is only good after a crap ton of modding, and a lot more expensive. There are really no other good 6x6's.

The only mod for the SS 6x6 is the florian mod the SS 5x5 one

Speaking of SS cubes I like the turning of my SS 5x5 and I also like the feeling of the size of a 60mm 5x5. Are there any 5x5's like that?

Hello,

I'm kinda new to cubing. Been doing this for only 2-3 weeks.
My first cube was some really cheap cube from a local hobby store.
A few days ago I received a Dayan Zhanchi 5 and it's great. Well, it was great until I tried to adjust the screw to get rid of an annoying squealing sound from the springs. Now it's not as great as it was but I'll eventually fix this.
I just ordered some Lubix to lubricate my cube so it'll probably be fine after that.

But now, I'd really like to buy another good quality cube to see the difference.

What would you suggest for my next cube?
I don't want one of those cubes that need to be put together.

Guhong V1 or V2 would be pretty good.

By the way, my zhanchi is stickerless but in most of the videos I've been watching, people have cubes with stickers.
When I made my purchase, I didn't find any reasons why I shouldn't get a stickerless cube.

Is there something I should know? Why are cubes with stickers more popular?

it is illegal to use stickerless cubes in competitions, so cubers tend to have more stickered cubes if they go to lots of comps.

Is the Shengshou v3 a good cube?
How good is it compared to a mf8 +Dayan? This one seems a lot more expensive, is it worth it?

Yes the SS 4x4 and 5x5 are good the v4 4x4 is not as common as the v3 one. The price of the 5x5 and 4x4 is half the price of the Dayan+Mf8 4x4.

I am looking for a new 4x4. I currently have a Maru and a (QJ)? 4x4 but I have slight issues with both.The QJ cube locks up way too much for me to solve fast with. I can't do hardly any algs without locking up.
I really enjoy the way the maru turns. My big issue with this is that it's far too loud. It's kinda...obnoxious. Many times I'll be solving in public places or around other people and its just overall disturbing to everyone. I'd really like a nice quiet 4x4. Doesn't have to be silent by any means, but this thing literally sounds like I'm trying to start my chainsaw.


Also, I tried searching for the term 4x4 and I got no results? Search function would not comply!

IMO: 3x3: zhanchi (I love the 55mm ad opposed to the regular 57mm)
4x4: Shengshou v3 - I have one and it is better than all 4x4's I've ever owned and it is just so awesome. I've heard that the v4 isn't as good as the v3 but that could be untrue. I can tell you for sure that you will have an awesome 4x4 if you get one
5x5: Shengshou (v-cube is bumpy and isn't adjustable- unless you mod it)
6x6: Shengshou hands down!
I can't recommend higher orders of cubes bc I don't have them but yeah generally Shengshou> v-cube but some people like modded v-cubes more. Plus Shengshou cubes are wayyy cheaper. Hope this helps!
