The QJ Pyraminx is pretty good. Make sure you get stickers, not tiles.

I heard that it feels pretty flimsy. I have a Ghost Hand and it's pretty sturdy, but it doesn't fold extremely well. I heard the CubeTwist is a nice mix.

No, I think he said the one he picked up half way through the vid was a Maru.
It would be remiss of me not to mention that since that video has been made, Lan Lan became the goto 2x2 for most people, and just recently the Type-C/Wittwo has far surpassed even that (people say it's like the Dayan of 2x2's).
If you were to buy an Eastsheen you may be sorely disappointed.

What is the best Gigaminx to buy at the moment? i have just bought a c4u one and it is shocking almost unusable, i have tried various mods to make it better but the inner corner pieces catch and turn whenever i turn the outer layer.

I had a ghosthand I for my first speedcube, and that worked out pretty nice. If you'd really like to though, just get a guhong, although that might be too fast of a cube for you.
