I'm thinking of getting a new 3x3 and I want one that is light and airy, with a crunchy or crispy feeling that has a medium speed.

Fangshi Shuang Ren V2, not medium speed (a little faster) but everything else you listed it is. It's my favorite 3x3, very light and I would describe the feeling as "frosty", and I love how it sounds. Very airy, it sounds like the wind is moving with my fingertricks!

I currently average around 25sec with a Shengshou wind and I'm looking for something better. I am looking for something that is very smooth and light turning. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

What about controllability of those cubes.

Weilong v2 is a bit too fast for me (I avg about 24-25 Ao100).
Sulong is very controllable and even a bit "sticky" if not very well lubed. It will not be a great improvement over the Wind, probably, but it is cheap.
ChiLong is my current main and well lubed and tensioned can be very fast but not as uncontrollable as the Weilong

Also, if you like the Wind the ShengShou Aurora is a nice improvement over that, quite controllable but a bit sensitive to proper lubing and tensioning.

From all these I would get a ChiLong until sub-20 to sub-15, then a Weilong (if you like squarey cubes) or AoLong (if bubbly cubes are your thing).

I'm making a cubing club at my school and I'm allowing people who have never even tried to solve a cube in- what cube should I get for the beginners who don't have one themselves? The original rubik's is $12 or so, and I want something decent, at a lower price. I'm just having trouble choosing, so I'll let you guys do it for me :P

The YJ Sulong is only $6 and has very smooth and light turning.

The Weilong is very fast and smooth, but can be slightly uncontrollable and you can't tension the V1. The Aolong has a bubbly feel and is slightly slower, but it's more controllable and the stickers are better. Don't get the V2- it's much slower and it's not bubbly. They,re both good cubes, I would recommend the Aolong.
