I like a cube that is really fast, won't pop at all, and also really smooth. Really hard description for a cube, but for the smoothness I can use tons of lubrication instead like I did with my sulong but it's too slow. Thanks in advance for help.

The Weilong is very fast and smooth...apparently the Aolong is slightly better but I have no idea since I haven't bought one...

personally, I've played with the weilong, zhanchi, sulong, guhong v2, aolong, and Dianma (and a few others that aren't worth mentioning).

Really fast: Zhanchi, Weilong, and Aolong are the fastest of the ones I've used, with Zhanchi being the fastest.

Won't pop at all: The Moyu Cubes all pop the least. Zhanchi doesn't pop much though for me at least.

Smooth: For me, Weilong has been the smoothest, but I kinda like the small bumpiness of the zhanchi and the aolong.

If I were you, I'd go with the WeiLong if you really want smooth, fast, and not poppable. However, the Weilong is very easy to overlube, so don't overlube or it will get extremely gummy and slow.

Weilong or Aolong? I don't know which. I would rather lube it than it already being smooth but I don't really care. Which one is faster? I want one of those two rather than zhanchi.

The way my AoLong is set up, it's not super smooth. It's quite loose and fast. It has a little lube to make it a bit more smooth. If I add more lube, it will definitely become more smooth, but definitely become more slow. If I cared about smooth more, I would still be using my WeiLong for sure. I like the slightly bumpy feel like a Zhanchi (out of the box) or an AoLong though. My friend's Zhanchi is totally smooth, but he lubes it heavily. I think Zhanchi can handle a lot more lube than a Moyu Cube.

I would recommend WeiLong if you can't afford to get both.

I think I should get an aolong, tighten it a bit and lube it based on your definition of it.

Please stop spreading this idea around unless you've personally experienced it.
Ok. I have heard at least one thousand people say that to me. So I guess, its just my personal opinion. You can easily control a Weilong.(I know from your filmed solves).
I thinks it's probably personal preference. Even cyoubx, a sub 10 solver said that the Weilong is too fast for him.

Ok, so DeeDubb has made me admit that fast cubes can be controlled by slow solvers. So here's my question should I get a Liying,Weilong or Aolong?. My parents don't buy me cubes often. (I get maybe one every 2-3 months). I like both smooth and crunchy cubes, with a slight preference towards crunchy ones.

I don't mind if you say it like "I've heard people say it's too fast for them". That's fine, But it's not your personal opinion. You are just repeating what other people have said, and stating it as fact. That's the part that is problematic.

As for Cyoubx, that's fine, he's played with the cube. However, personally, I believe a lot of people who say it's too fast are just accustomed to a different cube. Someone being Sub-10 and saying the Weilong is too fast should show how personal preference is much more important than your current speed to determine the type of cube you like.

I can't tell you about the LiYing, but I like the AoLong the most. It's quite a bit more crunchy than the WeiLong. Can't go wrong with any of those though.

You could get a YJ Chilong like me or a YJ Sulong.Buy the Shengshou Aurora if you like buttery turning. YJ cubes have a crunchy and clicky feeling.Don't get a Weilong/Aolong/Zhanchi unless you are sub 20 or at least sub 30 or you won't be able to control it. Note that the YJ Chilong is faster than the Aurora or Sulong. It seems hard to control at first, but after a few days you get used to its speed. The Chilong never overshoots, so it should suit a 60 second solver. I average 27-30 seconds currently, with my main being a YJ Chilong

No offence, you are seriously getting annoying. You don't even have expeirence of those cubes. Don't say what you think, say what YOU think. My brother is averaging about 1 minute 30 seconds solver and he said the weilong is controllable for him. It's really up to your preference.

I think he's trying to be helpful. I already explained to him that he shouldn't give advice on things he doesn't have experience with unless he starts it with "I heard from..." rather than stating it as facts. It seems like he's done a lot of research and watched a lot of reviews, so he is compiling what other people said. I don't have a problem with that as long as he prefaces his statement with where he got the information rather than presenting it as if it was something he came up with from his own experience.

Sorry for double posting ( mod, if you can fix that will be great) Ok, so you said you wanted a huanying because it looked good then you said you don't like huanying because it's outdated. Then you said you wanted the liying and so on. anyway, I would reccomond a Liying because it's crunchy and crispy.

None taken(I don't get offended by small 10 year olds). What do you mean by "Don't say what you think, say what YOU think". I don't wish to argue, but your brother is a 1:30 solver, so he turns slower than 1 tps. It is easier to overshoot, if you are turning faster. I do admit that some things I said were wrong. I have now corrected them.

Oops.. I meant others. BTW my brother doesn't lookahead and uses the beginners method. He turns pretty fast though.

After doing some more searching, I have finally decided to get a Dayan Zhanchi and sticker it with Cubesmith Halfbrights. O.0
Which size stickers should I get? The site says that the 55-57mm stickers will fit it(are meant for Dayan 1-6) but I know that the Zhanchi is 57mm. Should I get the 55mm or 57mm stickers? Is the Ultimate Lubix Zhanchi worth it or is a DIY Zhanchi lubed with Lubix better?

weilong ao long zhanchi is controllable if you are averaging 2 minutes or less because of lower tps and given no fingertricks (single or double flick or flic flic lic) used when solving

but if u say you are averaging one minute and below and use finger tricks thats where weilong becomes uncontrollable until u are doing sub fifteen
however we cant rule out that cube brands and types really differ on your style of cubing.

good cube + crappy style of cubing = hard to progress
bad cube + good style of cubing = crap
good cube + good style of cubing = awesome

Again, stop spreading this like it's a fact. It's absolutely not, and I personally know. I've been using a Weilong since 50 seconds, and never felt like the cube was hurting me by being too fast. Actually, I believed too many people that say this without really knowing, and it led me to believe that I was hindering myself, which made me buy a bunch more cubes that I didn't really need. The Weilong was the best for me, and now the AoLong pushed me forward more.

IMO The weilong is a good cube and so is the aolong but people have different opinions on the aolong
