I recently made an order from the cubicle that consisted of-

MoYu Dianma
Shengshou Megaminx
Shengshou Pyraminx
Wittwo v1 2x2 + stickers

I also soon will make another order, for a few larger puzzles.
- 5x5 - 6x6 and 7x7.
I know the standard is Shengshou, but does anyone have suggestions otherwise? I.e- lan lan 7x7 vs SS

5x5, shengshou or wait for Moyu, 6x6 shengshou (rumors of Moyu), 7x7 mini SS

im completely new but
i have a zhanchi and i dont like the feel of it. is there like a faster cube out there that is smooth and doesnt pop that much?
im thinking fangshi sr or like the mo yu or even the shengshou arora because its cheap

Well it kind of depends. The Aurora is a great beginner cube. It's very smooth and doesn't pop. The FangShi is also smooth but has a unique scratchy feeling that some people like and others don't. The MoYu WeiLong is probably the fastest cube on the market right now and is, for the most part, pretty smooth.

Yeah, try a WeiLong, they almost never pop (seriously, i've only had one pop) and are extremely fast and smooth.

Advice wanted pls.- for a 'smaller size' 3x3x3 and 4x4x4

Hello.

I'm rather new to cubing, was hoping for some advice on what cube to get. (Apologies in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong place...)
When I'm travelling, it would be great to have a pocket-sized cube to carry along with me.

3x3x3:
* Can someone recommend a smooth, quality 3x3x3, smaller than the 4.2cm Dayan?
I found a small 3x3x3 that I like: The Dayan 42mm Mini ZhanChi 3x3 - it is a Stickerless 4.2cm. I love it, smooth movement. I wanted something smaller and got a Maru's 3cm Speed Cube. The Maru sucks! It locks up, there is nothing smooth about it. Perhaps it's just mine, YMMV, but I was really underwhelmed by the quality.

4x4x4: I bought a Type C Mini 4x4x4 (4.6cm). This cube Sucks! :)
* Can someone recommend a small 4x4x4- something that isn't full size, but moves as well as the Dayan 3x3x3?
It doesn't turn very smoothly, and has popped out a piece a few times. I don't need to speed solve, but I don't want to be distracted by lockups. Know what I mean? I want to try to solve a cube without noticing the cube hardware.

I don't own a 5x5x5 yet, but it's next on my list, of course... When you get to 5x5x5, probably nothing is going to be too small. What do you(s) think of the
ShengShou 5x5x5 6.5cm V III? Compared to the QJ Mini(s)?

Thanks,
-Dan

I don't even think there is a STANDARD size 4x4 that moves like a Dayan cube, except maybe an Aosu from what i have heard, but still. As far as 3x3, if 42 MM isn't small enough for you, then you probably shouldn't be taking cubes with you when you travel. The smallest cube i can think of would be a phone app, but it is not like apps are great for cubing.

Hi! I'm looking to buy one massive shipment from CubeZZ, and their 2x2s don't seem to have some crazy price, so I'm probably just gonna get one. I've heard good things about the Dayan Zhanchi 2x2 as well as the WitTwo Type C 2x2, which cyoubx and CrazyBadCuber use as their mains. Which one should I get? What are the pros and cons of each.

Also, I'm debating picking up a Shengshou V5 4x4 just since it's like $6, but from what I've heard, the Aosu will definitely be my main. Is the Shengshou comparable with the Aosu after Florian/Konsta-Florian mods? Thanks!

A modded SS 4x4 is no mach to the Moyu 4x4s.

2x2: MoYu LingPo
4x4: AoSu hands down

Alright, so no Shengshou as a secondary 4x4. Any other opinions on 2x2s? So far the only good ones I've heard of are Dayan, Moyu, and WitTwo.

The fangshi 2x2 has a very good fast airy feeling to it. Some good things about the Fangshi 2x2 is that it very rarely pops or lockup. I have only tried the 55mm one but the 55mm is the same as the 50mm one but with caps on it to make it bigger.
