The dayan zanchi is an extremely fast cube. I recommend it

I also bought a zanchi when I was around sub 45. My averages dropped rapidly after that. Its a good choice.

I already have a Zhanchi haha (it's my current main). I just wanna try different cubes to have the feel, but at the same time not being too fast or too sluggish.

I'd like to get the MoYu Weilong v1 / v2 as well and I'm considering trying a Lubixcube-version, but I live in germany, is the price + shipping worth it? Are Lubixcubes actually "better"? (Considering that I'm pretty newb and don't wanna mess around with lubes and stuff like that myself)

The lubix cubes are supposedly better with their "special lubing" and they sand down some edges of the pieces to make them smoother.

But you can save money by lubing the cubes yourself, this video is for the zhanchi but it works for weilongs as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4paID_54lQ

This number seems too low lol

Yeah, I originally put 20-30, but then I did a mental headcount, and couldn't think of that many. Also there's a few people I can think of who aren't on this forum and have definitely had sub-WR singles (are the Weyers on here?). I might start a thread or something as I'd be interested to find out. I'd imagine most sub-10 average solvers have had 5s and 6s.

Definitely, I average not quite sub 10 and I have quite a few 6's and a 5.

I got a 6.50 lol single. It's not a big deal to be sub-WR single.

I'm gonna call BS on that unless I see a reconstruction.

No, rj, you didn't!

Even the most lol hand scramble I've ever had gave me a 12, and I'm 5 seconds faster than you. At your speed F2L should be taking you around 12 seconds; LL around 10. So even with cross skip AND LLskip you'd be looking at c.8 seconds!

reconstruction AND YouTube vid of 6.5 second execution.

And I'd still call BS.

So, I'm coming back from a cubing hiatus and learning about all the new cubes. All I have right now is a Type A from 2007 and Eastsheen 2x2, 4x4, and 5x5. How does this list look?

MoYu LingPo 2x2
FangShi ShuangRen V2 3x3
YJ YuLong 3x3
MoYu AoSu 4x4
ShengShou 5x5

This is just me but I would suggest also trying the fangshi shishuang 2x2 (50mm or 55mm) and the moyu weilong 3x3. Fangshi shishuang is more similar to the eastsheen 2x2 in terms of feel than the lingpo but it has amazing corner cutting, no lockups, and absolutely no pops.

Moyu weilong v2 and moyu weilong enhanced version?

Hi, I want to get a new moyu weilong and I don't know whether to get a v2 or enhanced version?
Which one is better??

They are the same thing, just with different names. MoYu's official Chinese name of the cube translated into English is MoYu WeiLong Enhanced, but most people call it the V2.
