What cube is the most closely related to the ShengShou Aurora's accuracy and control ability? I have the Moyu Weilong and it is just too inaccurate for my tastes (over shooting). I really like the accuracy and feel of my Aurora, but I am interested in buying another cube. Any recommendations? I also have a Zanchi but I let a friend borrow it.

The Guhong v2 is a great choice for smoother, quieter cubes. The Fangshi is quite controllable, but it isn't as smooth and buttery as the Aurora, is. For the butteriness, a lubed Lunhui is great, although its performance isn't as good.

I would say you're fine with the Zhanchi and the ShuangRen.

And who said the had to be 3x3? You could get a 2x2, 4x4, Pyraminx...

2x2: Dayan
4x4: Weisu, or Aosu if you can afford it
Pyraminx: Shengshou

1. If you're times are sub 30 seconds how are your times 32 seconds?

2. If you overshoot with the weilong then you need a slower cube not a cube as fast, I would recommend shangshou wind or aurora.

3. My English isn't great but i'm pretty sure you say as fast as the weilong and not "as fast and weilong".

I'm currently at a point where I think that the puzzles I currently own aren't that super challenging. What I have is a bunch of WCA puzzles a few 3x3 shape mods and some other puzzles like that. So what's a good challenging puzzle that I can get for under 20$?

SuperANtonioVivaldi's cuboid classification is interesting and a good place to start in deciding what you want to do after 3x3x2.

have you tried the super square one? For some reason I can't figure it out. Probably because there are no real tutorials on it, but I feel like it should be the same as my square 1...but it's not.

Which one of these 2x2's is the best-

a) Dayan 2x2
b) Moyu Lingpo
c) Fangshi Shishuang
d) Wittwo v2

Please give me reasons to as to why you think a particular cube is the best. Thanks in advance!

I was thinking about getting a 4x4, and I was wondering how the Dayan 4x4 compares with the Shengshou. I've heard good things about the Shengshou 4x4, but I've heard Dayan dominates the market in general.

No way!!! The shengshou 4x4 is way better, especially if you mod it.

Maybe you were thinking that Dayan dominates the 3x3 market? But even then, Moyu is becoming more popular, from what I can tell.

The moyu weilong is a nice cube.

I would recommend you do not buy cubes from amazon...I once got a fake 4x4 from them!! Buy from the Cubicle, which is as cheap and has good cubes and stickers.
