It sounds a bit strange that de 55mm zhanchi is so much quieter,but I'll see.

I'll make a video if you'd like. It's incredible, I never would have thought it would be so much better.

Been a few years since I have been cubing, and I lost my old Hiayan Memory long ago. The store I bought mine from doesn't sell them anymore. Anybody know a place that sells them, or a cube that i should get instead?

There are many stores on the web. Try a Fangshi Shruangren or a MoYu Weilong. You won't be disappointed!

Hi Guys I'm 10 and a bit of a speedcubing noob and I currently have a single of 0.48.
Im interested in going to competitions now but my current cube (Dayan Guhong V2) is stickerless and so Im looking
for a non-stickerless cube. If possible could it be available off Amazon! Also as I'm 10 my allowance is only enough for 7 pounds or under!!! Could you reply please because I would be grateful!!!:tu

I would recommend either one of these as your first real competition speedcube

Both on amazon. 7lbs is about 11.5 us dollars or something like that. The zhanchi is only about a dollar more. Neither of these are my favorite cubes, but they are fantastic nonetheless.

I really recommend using Fasttech. It is very reliable (maybe even more than amazon). It takes a bit to ship (2 weeks is the longest I've had to wait) but it is very cheap and customer service is fast. There are also plenty of options on how to pay.

I recommend staying with Dayan Guhong V2. Other options to consider are Shengshou Aurora, Moyu Weilong, Fangshi Shuangren. All of those cubes can be found on the page I linked.

I've never known anyone get a 0.48 solve before. Typo?

And to your question, the YJ Sulong is a very cheap, but very good. And it's also only around £3.

Also, out of curiosity, whereabouts in the UK are you (assuming you are from the UK)?

Maybe his notation is different? Minute:seconds and 48 second is a normal time.

This is awesome. I swear they just put up that post asking for testers a few weeks ago.

Edit: Just checked the websites. The pieces look almost identicle. THe only difference apparently is how the pieces are put together...making them able to produce stickerless versions.

That's the general consensus. Maybe there are other design chnges like with the Gans III v2 that are small and make a difference. I doubt it though.

Basically breaking it in. Smoothing out joints, etc.

In the Gans III v2 they just smoothed out some sharp bits, and adjusted the edge molds so everything was flush (they were a little bit off in the v1)

I wish they would do that with the Maru CX3. I think it could be my absolute favorite cube. The only thing wrong with it (for me) is that it catches so often when I'm solving. Like it wants to lock up, but won't fully. Other than that I love the clickiness, crunchiness, and its speed. Also the size is nice and the stock stickers are better than most.
