Guhong 2 is guhong one with torpedoes, which r little plastics inside edge pieces to stop it from popping. The plastic r the same as far as I know and I can feel no noticeable difference.

Thank you, so I will go with black GuHong 1 + 2, Zanchi, ShengShou wind, ShengShou, Type C III, IV, V, QJ, Lanlan and Ghosthand finger dancing. I know I just can't resist to try them out.. and they are so cheap (except the C-types and GuHong / Zanchi).

The C4, or the Witlong, is a decent cube, and feels really bubbly. The A5 is relatively old, and is very clicky. Other A and C models are subpar.

For Dayans, the Zhanchi and the Guhong Version 2 are recommended. The Guhong feels very smooth, while the Zhanchi is very clicky. Both cubes come with torpedoes, pieces that are located underneath the edge piece and the corner to prevent popping.

The difference between the two version of the Guhong is the lack of torpedoes in the first version. Both are very smooth, and there is negligible difference between the versions. I suggest buying the later version.

Color-wise, there is no major difference, as far as I can tell. If you prefer one color over another, buy that color.

I only have the C5 from the Type C series... I guess I could do an average of 5 with a few cubes (Fangshi, C5, A5, Guhong v1 & v2 and Zhanchi)... It's gonna take a while, but I guess they'll be up this week or next week :)

What do you think about the PanShi? It's the newest DaYan but not mentioned. I guess it's too new, so not many have tried it yet.

I haven't got it, and I've never tried it either, so I can't give you an opinion

E: I could add GuHong v1 to the list of averages :P

Some people like the PanShi. Some people dislike it. I really don't like it. Overall, I've seen very few people that prefer it over the Guhong or the Zhanchi. In my opinion, I'd get the zhanchi, Guhong, lingyun v2 (SUPER fast), and the Fangshi ShuangRen. Those are the cubes that have risen to the top for me. The ShuangRen has recently been released and there is a lot of information on it. I personally prefer the better Dayan cubes, but I think it's at least worth trying out. Definitely much better than the PanShi.

Thank you for your input. ShuangRen is expensive but I've watched a video and it seems to be very fast. Well currently my list of cubes would cost about 100 Euro + 100 for the 11x11x11 + 29 for the Gear Cube (how awesome is this cube?! ;))

You was gone for a LNG time so I guess you may not have heard of this recent wonder lube called lubix.

Lubix is awesome if you lube the core
